So it is possible that the last time i ordered online from this location might have been when i said to myself this is the last time im doing this, especially from this location... But now i can say for sure- that THIS TIME, for sure will be without a doubt the last time i ever put in an online order at this store.... Since the last 5 or 6 times have almost just about all been the same experience for me each time.... I place my order for nova lox bagel and a vanilla cold brew SHAKE, (not iced coffee) and a bagel w/ shmear at 8:32 am and live less then 5 min away and it said would be ready in 15-20 min. I arrive at 847. Wait around FOREVER, Think to myself good thing i ordered ahead due to the morning rush of people coming in to place their orders....After the first 2 people placed, paid and received their orders before me. Thats when i start to get annoyed... 4 new people have come in to place an order which not one employee is handling the register so the line begins to build up... They are FAR from being under staffed, everybody is bagging food or preparing it.... One bag finally pops up on a counter, but no one calls out any name.... So it sits.... For at least a good 10 min had gone by without anyone handling the guests at the register placing their orders or calling out names for any of the food that they were actually making and bagging. So FINALLY BY 9:18 am i recieve my order..... Which was of course you guessed it- Not even showing signs of even being kept warm.. And milkshake was more like vanilla milk with whipped cream that sank to the bottom.... Oh Did i forget to mention that my bagel with shmear was cooked extra crispy? Too crispy to chew... Had to put it in the microwave just to soften it up a little just to be able to eat it... And there was like 3 capers in total on the nova lox.... Thats was what i got for placing and paying for my order ahead of time.... Never again with this store.... I will drive to either rainbow or the one on Eastern and warm springs before ever ordering online from...
Read moreThis place is the absolute worst. Out of a dozen or more visits (geographically convenient)they have gotten my order right maybe 4 times. This is over a 2 year period. They rush you in the drive thru and are incapable of getting a food order correct. They ask if you want your bagels toasted, I say no and the bagels are toasted anyways. One time I didnt notice until I got home the next time I noticed in the parking lot so I parked, walked inside and told them that the bagels were toasted, please fix it. Waited 20 minutes for them to remake 3 bagels which should have taken 5 minutes tops. They handed me the bag and guess what THEY WERE TOASTED AGAIN. Lmao. So they tried for the second time and finally got it right after waiting 30 minutes inside. Not to mention I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru. My husband was late for work because of their incompetence. So I went again today against my better judgement hoping things would be better. Nope! Ordered a half dozen box of bagels figuring that everytime I order bagels individually they toast them so if I got a box I wouldn't have an issue with them toasting. I ordered OJ, Coffee (cream and sugar on the side)and 2 tubs of shmear. I waited a good 10 minutes in the drive thru and when I pulled up to the window no one came to the window for at least 4 or 5 minutes. The lady gives me my 6 bagels in a bag and says have a nice day. Smh. So I had to walk her through my missing items. I told her I had coffee and OJ so she makes them and hands them to me and thinks we are done she closes the window. I wait she opens the window again I say I need the 2 tubs of shmear I ordered and she hands them to me. Closes the window again. Opens the window again I need some cream and sugar on the side, she grabs them and hands them to me. This is just so beyond infuriating. I will NEVER come to this location ever again. If you are in the area and want breakfast made right, head over to Mcdonalds. As for me I will go out of my way to the rainbow and 215 location to see if they can...

I had a highly disappointing experience at this Einstein Bagels location. From the moment I walked in, things went downhill. The staff member taking my order couldn’t even spell my name — Alex — correctly. I had to spell it out phonetically, which, in 40 years, has never once happened to me. That was a first, and not in a good way.
I also made a clear and polite request regarding my bagel. I explained that in the past, I’ve often received bagels barely toasted with a tiny dollop of butter on just one side, if any. So this time, I asked specifically for the bagel to be toasted and for the butter to be evenly spread on both sides.
What I received was a greasy, soggy mess, with an excessive and overwhelming amount of butter crammed inside the bagel—so much that it was completely inedible. The butter overpowered any taste of the actual bagel. It genuinely felt like this was done out of spite rather than any attempt to fulfill my request. Either that, or the staff is seriously lacking training or common sense.
This experience was unacceptable, and unfortunately, it’s not an isolated case — just the worst one yet. I won’t be returning to this location unless there’s clear improvement in both customer service and food preparation quality.
