That was one of the worst experiences I have had eating out in a very long time all due to the waitress. This is only the second bad review I think I have ever done and the first time I have ever not tipped someone. I usually tip graciously and sometimes even above 20%. My mother, two children and I went to eat at this establishment and can’t say I have ever felt like I had been treated like such garbage before at a dinner. My children weren’t given food until an hour into the meal after my mother and I were done eating. My toddler and autistic 6 year old daughter were melting down as the take out orders continued to be processed over and over again. I was never checked on and had to flag the waitress down, then was even openly being ignored as my children were having massive tantrums over hunger. I had to get up and ask and no apologies, no offer to help with something to calm their hunger. Our orders were wrong and seemed as if they were never put in at all. Tables that arrived after us were helped long before us and I even overheard the two waitresses fighting over who would originally take my table as if they had already based their decisions by stereotyping us. I am absolutely angry at the experience and the fact that I had to take my kids out to eat immediately after at a fast food restaurant just...
Read moreOk ok ok! Where do I begin? Sawa I'm not seeing the 4.7 star rating based on my experience and my food it was a 1 at most. Staff was friendly and somewhat attentive, I was seated fairly quickly and they made sure I had what I needed kinda. So on to the food the sushi here I think is for people that don't really know what good sushi is or can be, the raw roll I got was drowned in so much sauce it made everything mushy and soggy not to mention the sauce wasn't that great to begin with bland bland bland! As for the other to rolls I ordered they were deep fried and we're basically the same exact thing except one had fake crab on top and the batter they used was not the usual delicious sushi fried batter it was bland and made it have a gross cheap feeling texture, not to mention they were mostly rice, wholly cow rice rice rice way to much for a sushi roll. So overall I would say the meal was bland and unappealing I paid thirty dollars for fried rice and not the good kind. Please up your game Sawa because this ain't it. Overall I was very disappointed and didn't eat most of the food I reluctantly paid my bill and left this wasn't the sushi experience I was...
Read moreI eat sushi at least once a week but decided to try this place with my boyfriend due to the location. The sushi tasted fine but the rice was not typical Japanese sushi rice. When I poured my soy sauce into the little dish, there were some specks and chunks that came out and I have never seen that before so I didn’t eat it. My water tasted like it came from the tap (chlorine). They made a mistake with my order. I didn’t say anything because it wasn’t a big deal but when the waitress noticed she took all my food off of the table and took it back to the kitchen to talk to the sushi chef while I was mid-bite… which was awkward 😬. Typically when that happens they just bring the correct one and don’t take your food away. Thought this place was so-so until later that night my boyfriend and I both got sick from eating here. Please just go to Sapporo across the street and save yourself from...
