Half Of Half Name Brand Clothing — Attraction in Jersey Village

Let me start by saying I love this store- this review is in regards to the employees.

The manager George is kind and helpful, however there is a younger associate that is extremely rude, unprofessional, and really just knows how to make you feel uncomfortable for just existing in the store.

There is a young lady that seems to be there every time I go, I believe she wears glasses, and she is always SO rude that it baffles me. I even asked a friend that was with me if I was being overdramatic or reading into it by saying that & she agreed that it was not normal. Her tone is very sharp, she is not kind or polite, she will not smile back at you no matter how nice you try to be to her and it genuinely makes me wish there was a different location I could go to.

I know it's not just me because I've heard her speak to other customers this way, but I genuinely believe she should get a different job that is not customer facing because that is clearly not a position she is happy in.

It got real cold in Dallas 1-6°. And I didn't have a coat so I stopped by in Arlington, Tx. I'm an avid shopper ..so I purchased a car coat with a hood, socks, and a long sleeve tee shirt for $40 less $5 =$35. Because they have lots of merchandise... reductions to $5, $4 - $1; you have to take your time and you WILL SAVE MONEY!! I was so happy and I live in Southside of Houston. They've recently opened this store and definitely BETTER than Goodwill. Goodwill HOARDS donations and packed as well as high prices. They're keeping items for the workers and care less for Vets or INDIGENT and PRICES higher than Outlet stores. Goodwill IS A RIPOFF and management doesn't investigate STOCK to release to public indigenous and needy looking for work. This store has Variety, Abundance, New, and sales, discounts. They're open for the needy and Wish they had one on Hwy 6 South. We need one in this area. I am 85 and with limited income and I'm SURE AM NOT the only one,. Brought my Mother here who has been to every half of half in Texas (this is her jam) and we were not disappointed. I even brought my big obnoxious double cart for my toddlers to ride in and I’m not going to lie…as a black person, we get apprehensive to use things like this for fear we will be wrongfully profiled as a thief etc. Well let me reassure you, no one followed me or made me feel uncomfortable. In fact, I lost my mom in the store for a bit and went to the register where the staff helped me figure out the final prices for a lot of my items. The two women at the front were patient and kind. I absolutely hate shopping for hours on end (reminds me of my childhood lol) but I was so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the experience was. My mom said it is the biggest half of half in Texas by far and she can’t wait...
