This is truly the worst service I’ve ever received in my life, coming from someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for 5 years. I came here for a birthday party with about 10 people and i will say that the food was delicious, but our server was extremely absent, which was unfortunate because we wanted to order a lot more than what we were able to. We waited for 30 minutes at one point without any help. We were sat right by the bar and watched as our drinks sat on the counter for 10 minutes!! The bartender was standing and chatting at the front with a coworker, and there were no guests at the bar so they could have easily walked 10 steps and delivered the drinks to us.. The manager came over and we explained the situation, he apologized and said he would take 10% off of our check. However, after 20 minutes of waiting for our check, we receive it with no discount. When i asked about it, the server said the manager said the discount had already been applied. So i asked for her to point out in the receipt where the discount was and she stuttered and told us that we had to go to the host stand to pay out if we want the discount. When we went to the host stand, we received a new check with the discount applied, which confirmed that they had lied to us about the discount already being applied. Overall I’m really sad about how we were treated because it was my friend’s birthday and this experience really...
Read moreI want to give 0 stars but because i can’t I’ll give 1. I placed an online order using their website, it confirmed it would take 20mins for a the lunch special I chose. Once I arrived to the resturant they said it was still being made. Every 10 mins I waited I checked on the status of the order, or the hostess would check for me. 40 mins into waiting they told me that my order hadn’t went through correctly & said that they didn’t know what sushi rolls I had chose. So I explained & showed them proof of the order. After, they went to the chef & explained what roll I ordered. I waited an additional 20mins after they placed my order & still NOTHING. I asked to speak to the manager for compensation for the inconvenience. She said I hadn't place the order correctly & said once I got to the restaurant I was supposed to them them the rolls so they could make it when I got there. That doesnt make sense if I received a notification saying my food would be ready in 20mins. It doesnt make sense to drive there for a PICK UP ORDER, & it still doesnt make sense to tell me I had to tell the chef what I wanted when I got there. them to ask me did i still want my food AFTER AN HOUR. i will never service this restaurant again. Poor customer service, incredibly...
Read moreAlright, sushi warriors, if you haven’t hit up Kumo Sushi yet, you’re missing out on the closest thing to an Asian culinary Avengers team-up. All-you-can-eat? Check. Everyday low prices? Check. Fine dining vibes without the pretense? Double check.
First off, let’s talk about the lineup. Udon noodles so good you’ll think you’ve been personally adopted by a noodle-loving sensei. Fried rice that hits like a repulsor blast to your taste buds. Chicken hibachi that makes you question why you ever bothered with those sad desk lunches.
And the starters? Oh, they’ve got the classics. Gyoza that’s crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bento boxes that pack more flavor than my old arc reactor – minus the palladium poisoning, of course.
Fresh fish, top-tier presentation, and the kind of all-you-can-eat deal that’ll have you plotting your next visit before you even leave. It’s like they cracked the code to food happiness. Just don’t get too attached to that booth – you might not leave for a while.
So, if you’re in the mood for some fine Asian cuisine that won’t break the bank or your diet (who am I kidding, eat all the sushi), hit up Kumo. You won’t regret it – unless you wear your skinny jeans. Then, well, good...
