Happy Lemon — Attraction in Katy

Please fix your slushy machine!! Slushies don't have ice chips that require chewing.

I came 3x in a row, and the Lemon slushy and Mango & Lemon slushy were perfect. I decided to try the Dragon Fruit & Lemon slushy tonight. Big mistake. It tasted like nothing and to make matters worse the ice was in chunks. Instead of being blended smoothly like a slushy it was gritty and had chunks of ice that had to be chewed. I can't chew ice so I took it back and they offered to replace it. I decided to get the regular Lemon slushy. I then asked if I would be refunded the difference and was offered a 50cent refund despite the Lemon slushy being $5.00 and the Dragon Fruit & Lemon slushy being $6.00, but I said nevermind. I got the regular Lemon slushy and the same thing happened, it was full of ice chips like they used bad ice or a cheap blender instead of having the smooth consistency of a slushy. I walked right back in, and asked an employee to taste a sample of the lemon slushy to see what I was talking about. She did and said it was gritty w/ pieces of ice and wasn't made right. At that point I just wanted a refund. They offered a few times to replace it but I was over it and asked for my refund. I was given $6 in cash but my receipt shows they charged me $6.50. This location is new and I love the fact that we have one now in Katy! Came by for the soft opening but Facebook announced that they are having their grand opening BOGO event on November 27th and 28th. Can’t wait!!!

We tried the Original Bubble Waffle with a side of salted cheese dip and an order of Green Tea milk tea + salted Cheese. I have never had anything like the dip before, it's lightly sweetened and has a texture like whipped cream. It's definitely addictive, I'll have to try it with other flavors of waffles next time. The drink was really good. The layer of salted cheese really goes well with the green tear milk teas, pleasantly surprised.

You can smell the delicious waffles when you enter those doors. It's a good place to hang out with friends and they have tables throughout. There is also bar still seating at the window.

The owners and the staff are very friendly and they gave me solid recommendations from their menu.
