Absolutely amazing experience. I’m not from the area, I came to visit to look for good Chinese food. Good Chinese food has a deep emotional meaning to me because it helps me remember my childhood. The food here was terrific and very unique! The flavoring and broth of my noodles were so excellent, and I love the concept of putting my noodles together for the “crossing the bridge noodles.” Quality of the ingredients were amazing, as you can see for yourself. And they brought it out looking very neat and gorgeous. Service was excellent! I was greeted with bright and happy smiles and the servers were incredible. Helpful and attentive, and so kind and friendly. There were all so genuine, and really helped create this experience for me. I’m very grateful. I was able to talk with one of them and learn more about the restaurant too, they’ve been open for about 3 years and I love that they’ve been doing so well. The interior is beautiful. Very clean, gorgeous furniture, and I absolutely love the story of the legend behind the origins of crossing-the-bridge Yunnan noodles on their wall. It really helps me connect to the origins of what I’m eating, which is so cool. This has been one of the best noodle restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in America. I have to recommend this place to anyone that likes or loves noodles. I will forsure be back for more. Keep up the...
Read moreCame in for dinner and there was a bit of a rush- so it took a little bit for the waitress to sit us (Party of 3), not a big deal. Drinks are either canned or bottled for the exception of the mango juice at least. The mango juice took a while to get (We got our appetizer before the juice), but it was fantastic so the wait was worth it I'd say! We had smashed cucumber and the fried pumpkin cake as appetizers, both of them were soooo good!! The fried pumpkin cake was something entirely new we tried and to my pleasant surprise it had red bean paste in the center. As our main course we had their vegan/vegetarian rice noodle soups. The soups are vegetable and mushroom based and we had the imitation chicken and imitation shrimp options- they serve A LOT of it. Overall our food was delicious, we'll definitely be back. The only complaint (It didn't really bother me) is that there's only a single waitress for the locale- which is understandable for the small locale but it might be problematic during rush time. If you're in a hurry or short on time for something, you might want to reconsider. Service was very good, Annie was very attentive to us and cared to get things right with our diet preference, so thank you for...
Read moreTook me over 1 hour to drive there, but it’s totally Worth it! The famous Cross-Bridge rice noodle (过桥米线) is authentic and just like the way cook in China. The hot soup is the soul of the noodle. The floating oil and sizzling-hot stone are the secret to keep the noodle hot for a long time.
I brought my whole family there. The Everyone enjoyed their own cross-bridge noodles with different flavors: Mine is hot-spicy, my wife orders hot-sour, and my son take tomato soup. We also tried other dishes such as pepper fried chicken nuggets and pan fried pumpkin pies. Very delicious and fresh!
The other thing I enjoyed is the culture background. I love the interior design. This restaurant is also like a little museum. If you wonder why the noodle is called Cross-Bridge, then you may read the historical story on the way in English and Chinese.
Great price. It costed about about $45 for my family of four. If you are willing to pay cash, you can get discounts. The only downside is that the parking was very busy. Took me a few minutes to find a spot during my visit on Saturday evening.
Overall, this is the most authentic Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles in The Greater Houston. Definitely recommend...
