We just bought a Wellcraft 302 Scarab from them and the entire family was a joy to work with. From Mike who sold us the boat to Jenn who worked out the details to Mary who handled the closing all went smooth. One note for people that are complaining about a boat they wanted to buy or a contract you had to sign, they are in the boat sales business, not the boat ride business. IF YOU LIKE THE BOAT- PUT MONEY DOWN ON IT AND YOU'LL GO FOR A RIDE, Maybe with Jenn, Mike or Josh! We've been boating for more than 30 years and have bought alot of toys in our time, by far the most hassle free and easy transaction we have had. People complaining about Lou- STOP- the man is running a business, this is not a public park, kids play zone or an amusement park- it's a marina where just about everything in it moves and can kill you. If you are getting service they pull your boat- let 'em have it and come and get it when it's done, getting gas-get it and go- wann fish???? Go to the gulf. Can he be short, sure, he's got expectations for how he wants things to go- he was great to us- even kidded with my husband a little bit and my husband can be a jerk! If you are serious and want to buy a boat or want service, call them and let them know- they sell HUNDREDS of boats a year and have an impressive hanger/showroom- go see it IF YOU WANT TO BUY A BOAT- if you want to tire kick and boo hoo because the factory put a Yamaha on your Robalo and you wanted a Tohatsu, I'm sure they'll order it for you, just sign a deal and put money down, there's no rule against doing that at a boat show.......Come to think of it, that's how we bought the Scarab! Good Job Vinci's thanks for taking...
Read moreWe were going to buy a new scarab 262 for $105,000 plus a trailer at $6K which is the price they were asking. We made no offer and were willing to pay that price and did not need financing. What a great deal for them right!!! Well, wanted us to sign a purchase contract BEFORE even getting a sea trial. We contacted them to come see the boat again and asked if it could be cleaned for our visit because it was dirty and in storage the first time we had seen it. Jen said come back next week and it will be ready. we drove 1 hour to get there only to discover it was still dirty. When we looked at it there was a 1 foot long crack in the fiberglass on the TTop. We showed that to Jen (I think that's her name) who is one of the owners and she said we can fix that. Then she left us and we did not see her again. We called back later(no one answered the phone) and left a message saying that if the factory would replace the fiberglass top we would be interested in buying the boat. A week went by and no return call. Then I called Jen and she said she had not heard back from the factory yet. I said OK well call us when you know because we like that boat. NEVER GOT A RETURN CALL! This was three months ago and they still have the 262 for sale. That's right---all this time has gone by and NO CONTACT from Indian Springs Marina. We have the funds in place to pay in full for this boat but they just don't care about selling boats. Communication from them is poor. It's really sad--we love the boat but can't do business with a Dealer who does not seem to care about the customer. We are going to buy at another Wellcraft dealer because we...
Read moreI have been reading these reviews and am dumbfounded by the negative ones. I have been buying boats ranging from 14 to 30+ feet for 45 years and have never had the kind of service provided by these people. I call or come to the marina and they know me by name and have always been fantastic. Their prices and quality service are the best I've encountered. When I came the first time to look at boats, Mike pulled the boat down and gave me a complete rundown, I asked if we could do a seatrial and he said it would be an hour to get the boat ready as it had never been run as it just arrived. An hour later, we were on the water did a sea trial and were sold. We negotiated a price and I bought the boat. When I came back a few days later to get the boat after a bimini was made, Ashley finished my seacheckout and went over the boat systems again. If I have need of service Jenn looks after me and always treats me with respect. I have returned for service and a couple of issues, one mine, Mike looked at it immediately resolved it and the other issue was a failed trailer jack that was covered under warranty and Jenn handled that no problems. If you're looking for a quality boat with fantastic sales and service, this is where you...
