Here is how I'm going to start this and it will end the same way: 'Go and see for yourself'....Now that's out of the way: Pros: I love the funko wall, statues and figurines...there is an insane amount of memorabilia.... There is a gaming table for card tournaments....
Cons: I was greeted, that was it....that was the only acknowledgement of my existence in the store...Funny enough when I was greeted there was just a person behind the counter and someone else sitting on one of the table on their phone. There was a certain smell in the store, but I didn't mind I got use to it but to some it can definitely be over whelming. There isn't much comic books there, I mean they have comic books but in long boxes and way too squeeze together it can damage the spine (if you're a big collector it's a big 'No,No'...If you're also still collecting the new books...I don't know....there is way too much copies of one issue per title....it seems like they tried to get the 1:100's and they don't have enough customer base to sell all the items. I felt uncomfortable in the place it had a feeling that I wasn't welcome, mainly, maybe, because they kept glaring at me as if I'm stealing...or maybe because of all the political talk mixed with hardcore profanity with I'm assuming one of their regulars, why get into intense political discussion in a comic book store and not mind how it makes others feel around them?
Over all it seems like this store caters to certain type of customers I'm assuming; politically fueled, say what you want (Hardcore Profanity) and not mind others around you (I mean some professional curtesy would be nice). I was not attended to at all. I made my one comic book purchase where I took it from their shelves made of wood that just fits the height of the books so it grind the bottom and top of the books so yeah...it's damaged. I was asked if I wanted bag and boards I said yes. Now, I've been used to comic book stores charging for bag and boards so I don't care about that...it's the fact that they did not tell me there is an extra charge....when there is an extra charge you tell people...why hide it?
The brief conversation I had wasn't meaningful at all it seemed like I was a burden to them when I was waiting for their conversation to finish about some president and illuminate or something....
Over all: 'Go See For Yourself' Experience this store on your own...reading these comments I agree on some but not all...it seems like the ones giving this store a 5 star are friends of them friends can be customers that is true...but opinion are bias.
Their Pembroke Pines location is way....WAYY....Better! it's an actual comic book store. You're better off just googling other comic book...

They have as much pops as their second location but barely comics.....things were unorganized....yeah, they have old ones but they have so much of books people wouldn’t buy much of, they still have so much copies of one issue from like months ago...I asked for the prices of the back issues that have which by the way sits on top of a table (unlike their other location) Open top, next to an open can of soda....I was told it was 50% off if I become a subscriber...my math isn’t great but one of the books I saw was marked $7.99 50% off that is $3.99....which is retail?!....why say 50% off?!....just sell it for retail....after I made my purchase it seemed like it was such trouble for the employees to leave his political discuss with someone and food to cash me out...I’m sorry I guess!....he ask if I wanted bag and boards I said yes....but I didn’t know until after I looked at my receipt that I got charge...for a silver age bag and boards....he didn’t mentioned there is an extra charge...and they didn’t give me the right one....they could have at least bagged it for me they just kinda placed it on top of my books for me to bag. I asked for a price of one of the comic books they have behind the counter and it was tripled the price....it was a Batman Annual and it wasn’t even a special variant it’s just first print first cover. Before I started to leave the person asked me to rate them a 5 star on google and told me that my next visit I receive an extra discount for doing so?!....heckling for ratings?!....Wow!....their other location was way better....way friendlier, this was disappointing....if you’re up around Pembroke Pines visit their other location it’s great compare to this...if you’re in Miami, there are other stores....trust me....just google other comic book store in Miami but...
Read moreThis is what I don't understand, you as an owner have a responsibility to your customer to better your store. Whether you take this seriously or not you have that responsibility. I never listen to bad reviews I rather find out for myself, that's exactly what I did. Found out that all the bad reviews hold true, why is that?!
You keep telling people here to email you if they have other further concerns yet all the concerns are already written here and they all have something in common: Horrible Horrible Customer service. You literally have complaints trending of the same thing from 5 months ago and still happening now. Clearly you as an owner is just asking to email further concerns and just brushing them off, you can't say you care about these feedback and do nothing. I don't even have to tell you what my experience was because it's the same as everyone else.
Whether you take this seriously or file it under: "Haters gonna Hate" do what you wish. Clearly, it will show whether you care or not when things change...Good Luck.
Update: 1/30/19 So, now that I'm responding, you're counting this as real?! are you serious?! just because people aren't responding to you, you claim that they are fake accounts?! That makes no sense.
Let me give you an example: If you had a bad experience with a particular store and you had your piece and say, would you email again to elaborate how bad the experience you had? that makes no sense...if a person comments and rates and tells you already what kind of experience they had you then go a head and ask them...."ohh please email me and elaborate more?!"
And what competitor are you talking about?! you're a comic book store...you have no competitor you sell paper!!
You are a shinning example of how things work in today's society dumb down all legitimate claims and say they are not real in hopes the public will follow through.
To be blunt, you have way too much people saying yes to you that your ego has taken over thinking you can do no wrong.
But hey, just file this under haters...and sleep soundly asleep
Also, I'm responding here so that it does not get brush off as "FAKE" If I...
