I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and outrage with the conduct and behavior of the LVAC 215 & Flamingo manager, Paul, as well as a specific personal trainer who consistently wears a pink Yankees hat. My experiences with both individuals have been nothing short of deplorable, and it is crucial for you to be aware of these distressing matters.
First and foremost, Paul the LVAC gym manager, has repeatedly shown a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. It is disheartening to report that Paul has been involved in teaming up with the personal trainer wearing the pink Yankees hat to mistreat and disrespect gym members, myself included. Their behavior has been nothing short of abhorrent and has created an atmosphere of hostility and discrimination within the gym.
I have personally been subjected to derogatory remarks and belittlement from the personal trainer in question. This individual, whose primary responsibility should be to provide guidance and support, has instead chosen to mock and disrespect me.
Furthermore, Paul's collusion with this personal trainer has led to the distortion and fabrication of stories against gym members. I have witnessed an instance where they have deliberately lied and twisted facts to protect their interests, at the expense of innocent members. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply damaging to the trust and camaraderie that should exist within a gym community.
I must emphasize that I have been a loyal member of LVAC for a significant period, and it is disheartening to be treated with such disrespect and contempt. The lack of professionalism, integrity, and fairness exhibited by both Paul and the personal trainer has left me with no choice but to terminate my membership with immediate effect.
It is my sincere recommendation to anyone considering a gym membership to avoid this LVAC establishment at all costs. The appalling conduct of the staff, particularly the manager and the personal trainer mentioned, has created an environment that is not only unwelcoming but also detrimental to the pursuit of personal fitness goals.
I hope you take this complaint seriously and investigate the matter thoroughly. It is imperative that the LVAC management team addresses these issues promptly and takes appropriate actions to rectify the situation. A gym should be a place of support, encouragement, and inclusivity, and the current state of affairs at this gym is a complete departure from those ideals.
I genuinely hope no other gym member has to endure such a...
Read moreNice club, however only go if you think you never need help from staff or from the manager. I recently moved to the state and joined the club. On joining they told me if I choose the towel option I can get towels on my visits to use sauna, It was only $9 extra a month so I picked it. The only time I wanted to use the sauna I went to reception and asked for 2 towels, first they asked for my membership card, I said it is in the locker they said you have to get it, I said how about you check my name they said they cant do it, I had it also in my phone so the person at reception found me and he said he will not give me 2. I said man the towels are so small its not enough for the sauna, he said if you take one and go and come back he can give me another one, I said you're kidding right? He was like no. I took a towel went down hang it on a door and came back, he asked for my card again I said are you kidding me ? He is like I cant give you another towel it is the company policy. I asked to speak to a manager, he was on his cell phone behind me the whole time, he came out and asked for my membership card, i said it is in the locker use my phone he said by company policy he is not allowed, I said it has my picture on it why are you making things difficult mate ? Up until I get the manager in my head I was going to only downgrade the membership with no towels cause clearly it wasn't what i signed up for. However after speaking to the manager I was sure that I wanted to cancel. I asked how long is my cooling off period he said its over, its 3 business days. I said when did I join he is like wednesday, It was Friday (last night) I said than it is the last day, he is like yea but corporate closed. I said than you need to do it manual, we went to the office (he was on his cell texting) we sat down and he canceled the membership. I worked for fitness industry for over 10 years, In my head all this time I was like omg how nice we were to our members. This guy didn't care about the customer service, satisfaction, clubs revenue, saving the membership. nothing at all. It is mind blowing that every staff member I spoke to says it is the company policy, which means none of the staff feels save and happy there cause they do not take ownership instead they blame the company.
Anyway folks, as I said if you think you never will deal with people who works there facility is fine, over crowded it gets super busy that's a...
Read moreI joined the gym to use the pool when the health department shut down the pools at clubs in Las Vegas. I was a member at a competitor. I was unaware at the time that this was done as a public safety precaution after members have have drowned and had near drowning near death experiences at the pool. LVAC was obviously negligent with respect to member safety at their pools. They failed to provide proper oversight electronically or via appropriate staff aka life guards.
Their public statements to the press only further harm them. They were given waivers from the Nevada health department for 4 years. They had 4 years to staff their pools with life guards which they failed to do.
They failed to monitor their pool’s electronically. They failed to report drownings and pool incidents to the health department as well as erased video surveillance footage of incidents..
They are now saying it would bankrupt the club to hire life guards to staff their pools and that they are a private club so the health department should not have jurisdiction over their pools.
I reached out to the sales member, David who’s signed me up last week to cancel. No response. No surprise there.
Now have to go in and haggle to cancel my membership and receive a refund after the health department has notified them to close their pools on 8/12/2024.
An accident left me with a disability so the only activity I can do at the pool is swim.
I am going back to the community pool to lap swim because LVAC does not care about the safety of its members using the pool or their facilities for that matter. Their position is they are a private gym that members use at their own risk. If using their club results in your death oh well?
They have the wrong attitude in my opinion with respect to member safety and are harming the public as a result of their negligence. People are drowning/dying on their watch and they don’t have the common sense to hire life guards. They have had 4 years to find or train current staff to provide lifeguards for their pools and they couldn’t do that.Their pools should be shut down.
On a side note, the showers in the women’s locker room were filthy the few times I have been. Just gross.
For peace of mind, swim somewhere else. LVAC doesn’t care about you...
