The salon is very clean and comfortable to be in. The staff is nice. Not super happy with how quickly and thick the girl applied my polish. My friend and I waited about 30 minutes to dry regular polish pedicures, and I still had a smudge. A nice man fixed it for me. However, I was not confident the polish was all dry. I wore the salon flip flops to the restaurant where we were getting dinner, and then carefully put my own back on before going to eat. We were at the restaurant about 2 hours. I checked the polish before and after we ate and they looked fine. Sitting on my couch at home a couple hours later, one of the nails had smudged đŸ˜€ I literally let them dry for like 4 hours and they still weren't dry all the way through! I went back the next day and asked if they would fix it. I tried to explain how long I waited to change shoes and that everything was fine around the 2.5 hour. Though I'm very grateful she made time to fix it for me before my trip between clients as they were pretty busy, she still implied I was to blame for not letting them dry long enough. How is 2.5 hours not long enough to wait to start moving around as normal!? The main issue, and this is with most salons, is they are in such a hurry at the polishing stage that they don't let it dry between coats. And 3-4 coats later of wet polish, of course it will never dry. I don't really understand the point of offering regular polish pedicures if the client will always be at fault for imperfections. The pedi hasn't even lasted 2 weeks and it's already chipping and cracking (I've had some regular polish pedicures last 4-5 weeks without chipping). On my right foot you can see where the polish "wrinkled" from being too wet underneath to put pressure on hours (and maybe the next day) afterward. Big toe had a bubble in it (that was one she redid for me) and still hadn't dried the next morning (which is when I noticed that black mark on it). I also included photos of the wrinkle she fixed, and the chip the morning after (2 days later) before I flew out of town. I can also see many places where the layers of polish don't match up. I know it's just toes and no one is looking that closely at them, but it's kind of a bummer. Perhaps to get the attention to detail it deserves I have to spend the extra $20 or whatever for a gel pedi? 😒 I may just skip the polish in the future and go back to doing my own SNS dip on my toes. However, the pedicure clipping, shaping, smoothing, and massage were excellent.

**UPDATED REVIEW** My original review was below. I decided to put my big girl pants on and go back to the salon. The front desk was very understanding and they assigned me another nail tech to fix my nails (Helen). She did such an amazing job and was very sweet and gentle. She didn’t make me feel bad for coming back. My nails look COMPLETELY different than how I left earlier so I am very thankful for Helen. Previous review: I rarely ever write negative reviews but today, I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I’ve been here a couple times before but it’s been awhile, I remembered it being pretty good so I decided to come back for my birthday nails. I got a French manicure and a pedicure. Let me start off by saying, the pedicure was amazing. The lady who did them took her time on them and it was very relaxing. However, the lady who did my hands was the complete opposite. As soon as she sat down, she seemed in a hurry. She threw my hands around, nicked my fingers a few times, and was just rough with me in general. I admire when nail techs are quick but not when it feels rushed and becomes sloppy. She asked me a few times if it looks okay but when I told her it’s a bit too thick, she just grabbed my hand and “fixed” it. The attitude and demeanor was clear. I wasn’t satisfied with the result but I didn’t feel like pushing it any further with her. She also tried to tell me I don’t need any polish — I already had a color chosen. I understand it can be frustrating but being in the service industry myself, if I’m being kind to you, I expect the same level of kindness or at least respect in return. When it was time to pay, I was just ready to get out of there. She asked me if it was okay and I pointed out the spots she missed and she came back with a nail file as he huffed and puffed, even threw her arms down like an adult child after she “fixed” it again
.it was not fixed to say the least. Not to mention, not even an apology or acknowledgement about the mistakes. From beginning to end, $155 later and all I got was unprofessional and terrible service.

UPDATE:

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for years. My phone number is in the system and everytime I enter my number, my birthday pops up. I haven’t had an issue letting the receptionist know that it’s my birthday so I can get a discount. Today I walked in and asked if they still do birthday discounts and they said yes. I get my pedicure done but this lady who was really wonderful (didn’t get her name). After all of that it’s time for me to pay and I’m telling them about my birthday and applying the discount. They told me my number isn’t in the system and I needed to have a code sent to my phone. I explained to them that from all the years I’ve had come, especially during my birthday, I never received a text message with a code. I asked to speak to a manager and no manager showed up only more coworkers who kept uttering different things. One of them even told me to come back next week. I told her, why on earth would I come back next week if I just got my nails done today? Then she looked at my hands and said “oh your nails aren’t even done” and started laughing. I told her I got my toes done and that I’m a nurse and can’t have my nails done. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Ladies if you want birthday treatment or a discount, go somewhere else where you are respected. Again my technician was very nice and did a phenomenal job, however the way I was treated at the front really had me contemplating if I ever want to come back again. Go with wisdom!

I’ve been coming here for more than a year now and really love my experience each time. They always service me in a timely manner. Taoi did my gel pedicure on my toes recently and it came out great. I would recommend...
