The Queso Truck — Restaurant in Decatur

Upped rating to 4-stars because our card was credited for the missing item and the food we have gotten from here (3 times now) has been pretty delicious. We've had most items on the menu at this point (except for the tostada!) and I think the worst one was the chicken quesadilla but it still wasn't bad. I do wish they had some form of kids menu though, a serious omission in such a family-oriented area of town IMO.

Original Review: Check your order before you walk away. We ordered online for pickup and they shorted us a tostada. When we called to tell them about it and ask for a refund we were told it was impossible for them to refund the item or offer a credit. They did offer to give us a new tostada but we had already eaten our entire dinner so as to enjoy it before it went cold so I had enough food and wasn't really interested in driving back out. I'm sorry I have to leave a 1-star review for something that is administrative in nature, because aside from that the food was pretty good. Also disappointed that we left a tip after the poor customer service on both sides of the transaction. If I had ordered delivery from Uber/DoorDash and complained about a missing item, we would have received a credit so it's ridiculous that ordering from the place directly doesn't have the...

Today was my first time visiting the Queso Shop kiosk and window in Toco Hills. I actually had swung into a long car line at Wendy's when I remembered about the Queso Shop. So I swung out and headed over. I love how easy the kiosk is to use. Just tap and pay. You can even remove items off your dish if you like (I removed cilantro - Chipotle needs to learn a thing or two about that). Food came pretty quickly. I was surprised to see one taco instead of two, but that said, it was still an amazing taco at a good price. The meat is so good! I will try other menu items in the future. This will be my new go-to place every time I'm at Toco Hills now. Oh, and the churros are divine! I didn't even need to dip them in the sweet sauce. I saved that for sliced apples at home. I was actually shocked. Food was very delicious and effortless to order using the kiosk. The steak taco combo was delicious. Loved the flavor and the guac they put in the taco. I don't even like guac but it blended well with the tacos. The chips and queso that came with it was delicious as well. The dessert was a side order of churros. The Sriracha Chocolate was a great compliment to the churros. The only thing I would add is that they add more cinnamon sugar dust to the churros. But overall, a great...
