Luxe + Mane Salon — Attraction in West Palm Beach

I'M TRULY THE LAST PERSON TO LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW BUT THIS PLACE MERITS IT!!! WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I'M WARNING ALL NEW AND EXISTING CUSTOMERS (READ), THIS SALON IS RUNNING WHAT SEEMS TO BE A BOOKING APPOINTMENT SCAMM TO DECEITFULLY CHARGE CUSTOMERS WITHOUT CONSENT. THIS SALON CHARGED ME $500 FOR AN APPOINTMENT THAT I NEVER MADE, WANTED, CONFIRMED, SHOWED UP TO, OR GOT SERVICES FOR! I ONLY WENT TO THIS PLACE ONCE AND NEVER WANTED TO RETURN! BUT THEY KEPT MY PAYMENT INFORMATION AND BOOKED ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WITHOUT MY CONSENT. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO REACH THE SALON MANAGER OR OWNER, THE OWNER DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO PROPERLY AMEND THE SITUATION, PROVIDE ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, SALON CREDIT, REFUND OR MAKE THE SITUATION RIGHT, BUT INSTEAD SENT THREATENING AND HARRASING MESSAGES SAYING NOT TO REACH THEM AGAIN AND THAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO REFUND! THEY EVEN BLOCKED MY NUMBER! THEY NEVER TRIED TO FIX, CREDIT OR REFUND ANYTHING SINCE IT WAS CLEAR IN THEIR FISHY AND DESPERATE WAYS, THAT THEY JUST WANTED TO CHARGE AND KEEP THE $500! I MEAN IN WHAT WORLD DOES ANY SALON CHARGE $500 FOR "SUPPOSEDLY NOT SHOWING UP TO A HAIR APPOINTMENT OR CANCELLATION?!!! FURTHERMORE THE SALON WEBSITE OR ANY CORRESPONDENCE DOESNT STATE ANYTHING ABOUT CANCELATION FEES, AMOUNT AND RULES! THUS IT IS MY EXPERIENCE THAT THIS SALON IS RUNNING A SCAMM WITH ITS BOOKING, KEEPING AND CHARGING CUSTOMER'S PAYMENTS WITHOUT CONSENT AND OPERATING IN BATH FAITH! I'VE BEEN STOLEN, DISRESPECTED AND HARASSED BY THIS SALON AND OWNER! GOOD LUCK EXPLAINING YOURSELVES TO THE PALM BEACH COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND SHERRIF'S OFFICE ABOUT ALL THE CONSUMER LAWS YOU BROKE IN MY CASE, OF WICH I HAVE ALL PROOF OF. TO ALL NEW AND EXISTING CUSTOMERS, READ THIS REVIEW AND MAKE SURE TO CANCEL ANY PAYMENT INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE WITH THIS PLACE AS THEY DON'T HAVE ANY CARE, DECENCY OR RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WILL EASILY CHARGE YOU IN THE MOST DECEIVING WAY WHEN/IF THEY CAN GET THE CHANCE TO DO SO. I HAVE SAID AND DONE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, & KNOW THAT JUSTICE...

I really wanted to like this salon, but unfortunately it just wasn’t high quality. I was a new client and came before the holidays, which is a busy time. The highlights in my extensions came out with banding, which looked sloppy. My extensions also were growing out at twice the speed I’d ever experienced (after 3 years of hand tied extensions at another salon that closed). I understand mistakes happen, but when I brought my issues to the owner she was dismissive, blamed my hair texture for the “slippage”, and simply said they could fix it at my next appointment. After paying over $600 I was disappointed she didn’t offer to remediate the issue immediately (as it’s substantially uncomfortable to have a weft so grown out and rubbing your ears). I didn’t feel I could invest any more money with them as they didn’t own up to the mistakes and offer to make it right. I’m sadly quite disappointed and felt it was a waste of money.

Owners response was, “All of this can be adjusted at your next appt. Also please let us know right away if there are corners bothering you we can always also fix those quick instead of you cutting them. We will complementary refresh the root if you’d like either sooner than your next or at your next appt. Would you like to make changes to your next appointment?” Which does not fix the immediate need for a move up, which is what should have been offered complimentary.

Saying I “left the salon happy with the color” shows the approval of this level of skill for coloring and rooting, which is where my disappointment still lays. Blaming the customer never looks very good on anyone. Would...

Steph is THAT GIRL when it comes to hair. I’ve been going to this salon since it opened, and Steph has been my ride-or-die stylist for over six years now. Every time I sit in her chair, I know I’m about to walk out looking like the main character.

She’s got this amazing energy that makes you feel instantly comfortable. She's compassionate, fun, and 100% real. Steph is super transparent about services (no surprises, just honesty), and she gives thoughtful feedback that always helps me make the right choices for my hair. And PSA: if you’re expecting to go from dark brunette to icy blonde in one appointment, Steph will kindly give you the reality check you need.. because frying your hair is not the vibe. She cares about healthy, gorgeous results, not quick fixes that cause damage.

The proof is in the compliments. I can’t even count how many times strangers have stopped me to ask about my hair color or style! That’s Steph’s magic. She’s a pro at bringing your vision to life while also making sure it actually works for your lifestyle.

Also, the entire staff deserves a shoutout. They’re always welcoming, kind, helpful and super easy to chat with. The salon has such a good vibe, and if you follow them on IG you’ll see they even host fun events that make you feel like part of the community.
