M and C Seafood Market — Attraction in Summerville

Came here to get some seafood for my birthday. Told the gentleman working there I wanted fillet after he asked what I was looking for. Then he proceeds to bring me hole fish knowing I said fillet. Gets a little snark with me when I said fillet. Told me he couldn't fillet them. So I chose 2 other types of fish one being cod and the other being grouper. Grouper being my favorite fish to eat. The lady behind the counter gave me attitude after I told them repeatedly I wanted fillet. Not sure how this place have good reviews. I then get back to my brothers house to cook the fish for my birthday. The cod was good but the HIGH$$$$$ grouper was nasty!!! Taste like it was a few days past exportation.

I told them that I'm not from the area and wanted something fresh for my family. Lol what a joke. I'll never return to there business nor will my brother.

Friday around 11:30am, I arrived at this small seafood place. First time there, very very clean. Open since November 2019. Owners are super nice. They have a nice selection of seafood from whole fish to filets (they will clean the whole fish if you would like) to crabmeat and oysters in small containers, they can special order items listed on the board of you so desire.
