The two men we met, salesman and manager, were friendly and knowledgeable, obviously well trained salesmen who had all the right answers. With that said I don't think either the salesman or the manager listened carefully to our needs. Frankly, I feel my wife and I spent too much money for what we got. It is impossible to lie on a mattress for 5 minutes to decide if that mattress is the one for you. We wanted to spend no more than $1000 to maybe $1200 and walked away spending over $1700. You are vitrually charged for everything...Besides the mattress you pay for delivery and for them to take away your old bed and box spring. Neither charge is cheap or even reasonable. Throw in tax and you are way above your budget. Maybe not the fault of Mattress Warehouse, as I'm sure everyone has similar charges, but still I feel the charges were excessive. I also made the major mistake of buying one of the pillows they let us use, namely the Airloom Nimbus Pillow, for the outrageous price of $179.00 plus tax. It came to me new, and although OK for a 5 minute tryout on the bed in the store, it was very uncomfortable when using it for a full nights sleep. It is a weird rectangular shape, very hard, with no flexibility whatsoever. The ribbing on the pillow rubs on your neck and the pillow itself is so deep in size that it basically pushes you towards the bottom of the bed in order to rest your head on it...For a tall guy that means your ankles are just about off the bottom of the bed once your head is on the pillow. I tried to take it back but the store would not allow that. The manager told me I should call customer service and they would TRY to get me some sort of refund but he wasn't hopeful or very helpful. Why wasn't he calling on my behalf? That kind of service sucks. I think the manager should have been more helpful in the begining, warning me of the uncomfortable features of the pillow, as I'm sure others have complained. Also I have slept on the bed two nights now and I find if I get up after a few hours and then lie back down that the bed has a groove in it where I was sleeping. There is a mountain of bed in between my wife and I as I am sinking on one side and she is sinking on the other. Sealy will replace the bed once, if it is broken, but I think having them come out to look is a waste of time, but may still go through the motions. I'm sure it is just the design of the bed. Poor materials and as this particular bed was only invented a very short time ago it has not been tested properly. So with all that said...I will not be dealing with Mattress Warehouse Annapolis Store in the future and I warn you to be very careful and don't fall for their slick sales presentation. The test bed they have you lie on supposedly predicts what you should buy. Of course the first bed they show everyone after your report is displayed is a $5000 bed. Gee funny how everyone qualifies for that bed. The only bed in our approximate price range (due to it being a Memorial Day Sale) was the one we ended up with...I think they had less expensive beds but never showed us those. I feel badly as this was our second encounter with this particular store. Our first experience was very good. We were shown inexpensive beds that wore well for at least 8 years. We were charged very little for delivery and pick up...Obviously things have changed. The store nor the follow up service even come close to what we expected judging from our...

Mattress Warehouse letter says not our problem and call manufacturer directly and say not our problem. We are stuck with this complete waste of money. Every time we go to sleep in this bed with a huge hump in the middle between my wife and I and wake up with back pain, we are reminded of how much money we wasted. I would have been better off burning the mattress.
Previous review. This review is more about the mattress than the store. We purchased almost a year ago the king size Aireloom Bali Firm Mattress. The mattress felt extremely comfortable in the store. It was the most expensive mattress in store and Iām a believer of you get what you pay for with certain types of products and generally or at least I thought mattresses fell into that category. We didnāt just get it thinking itās expensive so it must be nice, it seemed well made, the salesman generally spoke highly about the mattress (wasnāt pushy) and reviews online seemed good. There were a few reviews about sagging but thought they were flukes or just got unlucky. Well I was wrong. Within 90 days of owning the mattress it sagged to the point where we were able to do the exchange under warranty instead of through the comfort exchange. My wife and I are not heavy, she weighs around 120lbs and Iām about 185lbs. We rotated the mattress often as suggested to even out the bed but it made no difference. My wifeās side sagged just as much as mine. Went back to the store tried out a bunch of different mattresses and decided to go with the Aireloom Maui Firm mattress which was the next step up for firmness from the Bali. We initially werenāt going to go with Aireloom but since we spent so much money, any other mattress would have left money on the table plus the salesman (this time store manager) was surprised with our experience on the first mattress as they rarely if ever get returns or warranty claims for airelooms. Fast forward to now, we hate our mattress. Itās extremely uncomfortable and this mattress is sagging. Donāt think itās sagging enough yet to be replaced under warranty but itās only a matter of time considering weāve had it for less than 6 months. Our old queen Serta mattress thatās over 11 years old is just as comfortable as day the we bought it and hasnāt sagged at all and it was less than half the price. Do not waste your money...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Valentines Day 2025, my husband and I decided to replace our Tempur-Pedic queen mattress. After some online research, our decision came down to 2 specific model mattress manufacturers, Tempur-Pedic and Purple. I called the Mattress Warehouse on West Street in Annapolis, MD and spoke with Serge and confirmed that both mattresses were in their showroom for us to physically check out. When we arrived, Serge was extremely professional and helpful as he explained everything about both products! He even had us try out other mattresses to ensure the mattress we selected would be the best one to fit our needs. After testing the different mattresses, we decided to go with another Tempur-Pedic mattress and Serge even gave us the Presidents Day Sale price on the Tempur-Pedic mattress we selected!! We highly recommend Serge and Mattress Warehouse for your mattress needs! ~ Chris D.
Update, after purchasing a Tempur-PedicĀ® Adapt Hybrid in February and sleeping on it for 30+ days, we went back to Mattress Warehouse and met with Serge and TJ at the Annapolis store. We explained that the new mattress did not provide the comfort level we had hoped for and requested it be exchanged for the Tempur-PedicĀ® Pro Adapt 2.0 firm.
We were so pleased with how smoothly the exchange went after Serge worked with us to ensure the Tempur-PedicĀ® Pro Adapt 2.0 firm would better meet our comfort expectations. Within 4 days the new mattress was delivered by a very professional and pleasant crew that kept us update on the delivery and the morning of the delivery let us know the mattress would be delivered at 730am (they arrived at 729am!). We highly recommend Mattress Warehouse, in Annapolis, MD, a very trustworthy company. Be sure to ask for Serge or...
