I had the worst experience with customer service here. We were seated pretty quickly this afternoon (by the kitchen in a pretty empty-ish restaurant) and Briceida B was our server. Not a huge problem, I just finished picking up my mother from her hospital stay and we weren't seated near anyone else so it was somewhat private.
For some reason Briceida kept getting my order completely wrong. First it was the drink. I asked if they had seltzer water, she said yes and I said great can I have that with a lemon? She brings me a warm ginger ale with a lemon and some ice thrown on top……
I pointed it out and she looked confused. I said it's no big deal I like gingerale too, I can just drink this. She never apologized, never offered to remake the drink. Moving on...
My son decided he wanted the crab mashed potatoes and crab asparagus but as she's repeating it right after he says it she keeps calling it lobster. This happened twice in a pretty quiet environment so I really didn’t think anything of it other than that was a weird exchange.
I ordered the Shrimp Scampi Linguini. The food comes and I have a large bowl of Shrimp Alfredo. (I hate shrimp alfredo and would never order that) Plus what I asked for came with a scampi sauce, tomatoes and lots of other things that make the pasta exciting. The bowl we are currently looking at is a bowl of white sauce and little pink shrimp.
She leaves the bowl, then goes to the back and then reappears only to tell me It’s Shrimp Scampi Alfredo. I let her know that’s not what I ordered or even on the menu lol. I asked for the menu and pointed to what I ordered and read it to her including the ingredients.
She takes the bowl and returns with the bowl five minutes later… I look at it and it’s literally the same bowl of alfredo now mixed with tomatoes and some green leafy veggie. It's not even hot. Now I’m offended. I say please take this and I don’t even want it done over again.
The "chef" comes out... Attitude all over his juvenile face and says he made it himself and that’s what it is. I told him that is still Alfredo sauce and I know what scampi looks like. Decided not to argue and simply told him okay. He leaves and we are wondering why he even appeared at this point. Were we supposed to have a battle? What is going on here?
Everyone defending their mistakes is preposterous.
I’m ready to leave. The waitress comes with the check and hands it to no one. It's placed at the end of the table and she leaves. I asked my son to hand me the check and yeah the Shrimp Alfredo I never ordered is on my check, plus the fake do over was also added. It was at this point that I’ve had enough….
I got up and looked around, nobody was immediately in my sight, so I went to the front and asked for the manager. He appears from the back and asked how could he help me. All I say at this point is what was added to my check that should be removed. He takes the paper, disappears to the back, and then comes out of the back but doesn’t come to the table. From afar he says oh she’ll bring it back out to you, turns and walks away.
Not one question about how my meal went today, what could be done to improve, etc. I was handled so wrong today it’s sad that everyone I came across was a person of color just like me.
Waitress appears with the new check. I asked why those items were added, she said someone else forgot to take it off and pranced away. She was giving me side eyes and faking the have a nice day. I have never. I’m just never the unhappy customer but this was egregious.
I still left a nice tip and my son cleaned the table as I’ve always taught him to do because we aren’t trash but seriously???

Read moreSuch a disappointment. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by a young man (the host) who was very polite but after that things quickly went downhill. Most of the empty tables in the restaurant were dirty and full of plates and remained that way the entire time we we there . Our waitress came out in a decent time but it took almost 10 minutes to receive a Shirley temple and a strawberry lemonade. Took another 15 minutes to receive my salad. Entrees took a long time as well. Once we finally received them , my boyfriend needed another strawberry lemonade. I was fine with my drink at the moment and didn’t need a refill. She was gone so long( I would say 15 minutes at least!) my boyfriend ate half of his meal with no beverage. By this time I now needed a refill and she was nowhere in site . By the way my boyfriend ordered the crab legs with the roasted garlic topping and they literally put a cup of garlic if not more on top of his food . Disgusting and not appetizing at all . Couldn’t complain because we were still waiting for her to come back with his refill. I had to finally get up and go to the host stand to tell the host we need our server or a manager or something because we have been waiting 20 minutes for refills. After that she still took a long time to come out . She came back with my Shirley temple but still no strawberry lemonade for my boyfriend. She apologized and then proceeded to tell us she was in the office because her manager pulled her in there to talk about a situation??? Why did we need to know this ? And why would the manager pull her into the office to discuss anything while she had tables to attend to . Getting back to the lemonade again, she said oh I forgot to tell you we were out of strawberry lemonade. Like really ?? When were you gonna tell us that . He opted to just get a regular lemonade which still took several more minutes because she had to greet the table sitting across from us. I got the endless shrimp deal and she kept bringing out plates and not even taking the dirty plates . By this time we were completely turned off and ready to go . I requested Togo containers and believe it or not it took about 5 minutes to receive those . Everything took unnecessarily long on top of sitting with filthy tables all around us . We saw a manager once in the beginning and never saw her after that and she clearly didn’t care that the restaurant was filthy and that her patrons were receiving such poor service. I’ve been working in restaurants for 15 years. I worked in front of the house management and back of the house . I currently work as a chef in a restaurant here in Annapolis and I can tell you right now , this would never happen in my place of employment. Completely unacceptable. Will probably never come back to...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews but this is needed. The service has severely downgraded over the past years. I attempted to give this Red Lobster a chance again after a year or so when we received cold food. Unfortunately the same thing occurred but this time with poor service. From the time we walked in, the hostess clearly did not want to be there and when she walked us to our table she just threw the menus down and did not provide any silverware. It took about 10-15 minutes before our server finally came to ask what we wanted. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but at the same time other customers started to get seated and would wonder the same if they had a server or not. Once our server finally came, she also gave the impression that she didn't really want to be there as well. After our orders was finally taken, another table was seated across from us and was clearly frustrated on the lack of service as well. As we are waiting we overheard our server mention they only have 3 servers for Saturdays which seemed kind of strange but used that as her excuse for the slowness. They were not busy or packed at all. 30 mins go by and thinking our order was placed, our server stopped by and asked us did we order?? Come to find out our server never placed our order and proceeded to tell us the particular meal we order takes a long time to make... 10-15 mis go by and the table next to us was also questioning their food and asked if we ordered. Our server proceeded to come to our table again and state our food was almost ready and would take another "5 mins" and still use the excuse that the particular meal that was ordered (Lobster & Shrimp Overboard) takes a longer time make. Finally after another 10 or so mins our food arrived after the other tables received there food before us and yet again, it was lukewarm and cold within 10 mins. All in all it took over an hour and 45 mins to receive our food on a "busy Saturday". Not sure what happened with the Red Lobster but they need to re-evaluate their staff and business and will no longer receive...
