Overall I’d say this place is underrated and somewhere everyone should try. The theme is different sandwiches from different regions in the US. It’s casual dinning where you order at the counter, they bring the food to your table, and a staff member comes back to check on things and see if you need anything. They cleared the table and trash. There are 4 TVs with sports on.
They have a full bar with every type of drink one could want including craft beer, cider, wine, Prosecco, and cocktails. You can even make your meal “hoppy” by adding an adult beverage.
There 3 vegetarian options that are much more interesting than just a salad.
I had the Jackfruit Cuban sandwich. Jackfruit had similar texture to pulled pork. The flavors met my expectation of a FL Cuban. Only non traditional aspect is that it’s not pressed but I actually didn’t miss that because the combinations of ingredients were what I was looking for.
My partner had the Louisiana Shrimp po’boy, which he liked.
The bread for both sandwiches was very good even though it was not the traditional bread type for either one.
You have several options for a side. I had the Potato salad which was on point with a grainy mustard. It was light compared to many mayo based ones, which I appreciated. My partner had the Homemade potato chips which have a nice thickness that still allows them to be crispy. Only slight let down is that they do not have a fries as all, but we felt the sides they did have were...
Read moreAs a Delawarean always on the hunt for unique dining experiences, Regionale absolutely delivered. Stepping into the restaurant felt like being welcomed into a family's home, thanks to the incredibly kind father-daughter team. Their genuine warmth and shared passion for food created an atmosphere that was both uplifting and professional. They took the time to explain their menu, weaving in stories of their happy lifestyle and positive approach, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The seasonal Lemon Chicken Noodle and Bulgogi Sandwich was a standout, a delicious and creative combination that easily earned a 9/10. I was also impressed by their rotating selection of craft beers and the diverse menu featuring innovative spins on regional American dishes. Regionale isn't just a restaurant; it's a delightful culinary journey across the states, served with a side of genuine...
Read moreNot sure what’s happened to this place. When we discovered this place about a year ago- we were very impressed with the food, the service and the atmosphere. The past few times we went, particularly just last week was pretty disappointing. The food was still good (albeit pricey) but the service was pretty awful. The guy at the counter is painfully unwelcoming and pretty rude. It was also almost completely dead which was odd for a weekend at 5pm. If you’re going to charge prices as they are, at the very least you should have someone representing the restaurant have some sense of friendliness or welcoming. I shouldn’t feel like I’m bothering someone just by ordering food. A simple “thank you” or “your welcome” goes a long way. I likely won’t be coming back anytime soon- which is a shame for a place I really enjoyed and always...
