ACTUAL REVIEW: 2.7 stars (unfortunately google reviews won’t accurately reflect my opinion of this establishment 🙄)
THE VERDICT: I have frequented many a UVA dining hall/academic building, and suffice it to say, Newcomb Hall (built in 1954 and named after John Lloyd Newcomb) has been a reliable staple of my experience at the University of Virginia. However, (and I must regrettably add a however) I have been dissatisfied with quality (and consistency) of the weekly Wing Wednesday event. It is probably very well known among the students here that wing Wednesday doesn’t exactly live up to its name. As I am writing this review, it is currently a Wednesday and yet THERE ARE NO WINGS IN SIGHT. I have addressed many formal (and informal) complaints to the staff of Newcomb dining hall with no luck, receiving quite the lip from the dining hall staff.
