Culbreth theater is in the same UVA building as Ruth Chaplan and I think the Helms theater too. I've always found the employees extremely helpful and the facilities have been redone in this last decade so that there's comfortable seating while waiting for the theaters to open. The bathrooms are large and accommodating where many years ago there was not enough bathrooms for the amount of people there. In general I find the seats a bit small and the legroom lacking compared to other theaters I've been in. One big Note I would add is the place is not really handicapped friendly. I'm sure they say they're handicapped accessible and probably are in some way but I would guarantee that you would have to sit all the way in the back of the house since there's steep steps down to the seats. with all this being said I frequent these theaters all the time because the shows are amazing.
