I graduated in 2024 and really enjoyed my time here. I feel truly blessed for the amazing community, connections, and job opportunities. I made many lifelong friends at Notre Dame who I talk to weekly. Also, I had my two daughters while law school here and everyone, especially the professors, were incredibly supportive. Notre Dame has special married and parenting housing and a daycare for students. Some of the law professors, despite being busier than I was, even offered to watch my kids if I needed it!
Politically speaking, having talked to my friends who attended other top law schools, it is clear that Notre Dame Law School goes above and beyond to foster an environment where people are seen and their opinions matter, regardless of which way their speech cuts. For example, the presidents of the Federalist Society and the ASC were good friends and went to each others’ weddings and hosted events together. At most top law schools, they barely even talk (or yell) at each other.
I also felt that the Notre Dame brand carries a lot of weight and I got to see/meet five U.S. Supreme Court Justices during my time here, not to mention many other federal and state judges. Classes are offered domestically and abroad with Supreme Court Justices. Alums really want to help and the football is great.
