SUPPORT THIS PLAAAAAAACE! December 2022 and this place is still my jam. It’s a little older than many but they keep it in great shape, clean, great sound and picture, and you won’t break the bank taking your family. I’m there like twice a week. It’s great.
YESSSSSSSSSSS they still rule with the best crew, prices, and concessions in town. Stretch your inflation dollar here. God I love this place.
UPDATE 1.05.20: This place is still the best deal in town. Great staff, great presentation, and PEPSI. Keep up the good work.
UPDATE: Well, they finally raised prices. Tickets jumped to $6 for kids/senior/matinee before 6pm and $8 for adults after 6pm. Concessions are still nice and cheap, staff is friendly, and it’s never too busy. It’s still my favorite place to see a movie.
$5 for a first run matinee is unheard of nowadays and it's a legit old school before 6pm cut off. Pmus, after 6pm it's still only $7 for adults and still $5 for kids and seniors. I see the occasional complaint about them being a cash only business, but Jesus, I'd rather pay less and use their in theater ATM if I'm in a hurry rather than subsidize the banks fee racket. Even their concessions are reasonabe. I can see a full price movje and get a small popcorn and a medium soda for about what an "XD" tocket costs at the closest chain. Theater is a little old and run down, but it's clean and the sound and picture are great. Plus, they have...
Read moreToday Feb. 03, 2016 There is a woman who says she is the manager who is consistently discriminatory towards me. I have a back & knee injury that make it very painful to carry a purse or laptop case to the point where it has caused me to have vicious back spasms. I carry a backpack as it centers the load and does not cause as much pain. Today she demanded to see inside while ignoring large purses and a large size diaper bag. I asked why. She said she needed to look for contraband and check for weapons. I asked her why she was targeting me and had not checked any of the other bags, one larger than my backpack, and politely told her no. She sold me a ticket, then attended those waiting, including myself, for snacks. At no time was I ever threatening nor vulgar. I did not at anytime curse or disparage her. Part way into the movie two sheriff deputies arrived and asked me to exit to the hallway because the manager told them I had a concealed weapon in my backpack. The officers refused to cite her for initiating a...
Read moreI legitimately liked this theater. When we went to a feature there, it's clean and basic. But, I like supporting locally-owned businesses and Portland is lucky, cinemas like this make it easy.
Restrooms were at the far end of the theater corridor and our feature was at the other end. Two auditoriums are in the lobby so those must be quite small. The cinema we were in was average sized, clean and had comfortable seating.
One thing to note, the auditoriums are laid out in the classic style with a sloped seating area, but not stadium / tiered seating like most of the new multiplex auditoriums. Viewing the screen wasn't an issue and I only heard the movie next door during the previews.
This business is cash only and they have an ATM in the lobby in case you are without funds. Evening shows are currently $7 and matinees $5 for adults. Concessions were $5 or less, unlike most larger...
