Over the year or two that this āboujee flea marketā went up, it has gone down, Iāve only been in here 4 times and itās just, FAKE FEELS, and hit a ārock bottomā and it seems to continue to show that way. I couldnāt bring in my Disney backpack, because of reasons unexplained and I wonder how many people roll in with carts and burkas⦠the āstarving media artists and craftersā is real here, donāt be fooled by the appearance, I was, and I feel like my pockets wouldāve been swept by not only over priced used ādesignerā or āindie designerā pieces from poor passed away stores and PIER 1 Importsā¦but the people that frequent in there⦠I honestly never felt a genuine vibe, and it seemed very desperate. The lights are too much, the waterfall over the top, and the staff, seemed, FAKE NICE (and maybe for reasons AGAIN they cannot explain probably because management knows the negative). Thought it wouldāve been nice to see and purchase from fellow ACTUAL HOMEMADE CRAFTERS OR ARTISANS. Not⦠washed up try hards that are desperate⦠that and it was difficult to really shop with so much exposure and tiny stalls⦠very uncomfortable in the end. Please, just support thrifting and DIY for yourself! š thanks anyways...

To either side of Saffron Treasures you will find such diverse offerings as honey bee products and JMU fan apparel. Just over the wall, you'll find a shop with hundreds of Funko POP collectables... truly, something...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a heartbroken Christmas Tree Store shopper, my heart left when I saw the Painted Tree sign and I thought I wonder if it's a similar store? I can say it is not like the Christmas Tree Store. I would say it's more like an Etsy rent a space "flea market" type shopping experience. I went during the week and practically have the whole place to myself. The vendor booths seemed set up so that you get pulled one way, then another, which can give a sense that you're skipping some. It certainly something refreshing and if you like Etsy and unique items, at very reasonable prices, this is a thoroughly enjoyable...
