I literally cannot even believe this remains in the Marriott fleet. It took over 20 minutes for an employee to notice us and come to the desk to check us in at 6 pm in the evening. We were going stay for 2 months but ended up shelling out more for a VRBO in the second week. The fitness center sucks, everything needs updating, there is never a bellhop cart around when you need it, room service never comes when you schedule (even if you schedule again and again), the rooms don't have vacuums or brooms, the walls and floors are paper thin, they put the families on the upper floors which causes the lower levels to complain about the stomping, every entrance has stairs making entry with lots of bags impossible, but the absolute WORST part is that the WiFi is horrid. In TWO WEEKS our WiFi went out twice. Two weeks! The first time for 4 whole days and currently on our second we are still out. I WOULD PREFER CAMPING. Pics feature the broken, fuzzy TVs in the fitness center and the single missing 25 pound dumbbell messing up their already horrid selection even more.

It took until the 4th day I was there (day before I left) and several times of me asking the front desk to change the stained comforter on my king bed I paid suite rates for. Not sure if it was blood, makeup, or some other human bodily fluid but it was uncomfortable to sleep with for 3 nights. I didn’t think I was asking for much. The tub also backs up with 3 inches of nasty water after 1 minute of the shower being on, so if you’re a clean freak like me, it’s not pleasant to stand in. The floors weren’t cleaned in a while and there were smudges of I DONT WANT TO KNOW on the toilet. After a rough night of sleep from the people above me stomping and slamming things around, landscaping was directly outside my window at 7am on the dot, leaf blowing. To top it off, I’m missing a brand new beanie, which I’m not saying was 100% stolen from here but I don’t know where else it would’ve gone as the last place I remember it was the room. Do yourself a favor and just spend the few extra bucks for a newer, higher rated hotel.

Just checked in, was thankfully grabbed early check in through the Marriot app, letting me get some truly deep sleep from my currently 3 day road trip. Falling into the sofa or bed, taking in the sharp clean decór, gaming on my ps4 with their 37in suhd led in the suite. Wife, children, and two vehicle from Lake Charles back to Seattle Washington. This location has the most breathtaking scenic Panorama of mountains, plains, and creeks trickling the horizon away from the concrete jungle of Denver. The whole area is upscale and feels safe. There's not even a bunch of recreational canna shops creating traffic or making tourists feel awkward from their unfamiliar environment of freedom in a society. The building is older and will be going through updates and remodels until it's a vintage and renowned property such as some of the original simply "Marriot" hotels speckled across the country that have far exceeded their costs in profits obviously. It would be an interesting project to update it "fully", because of having to explain or consistently try to rectify customers compalaints.. shut down every room and gut it all, or by that point just demo and build something akin to the other 3 or 4 extremely new age and fashionable Marriots that they've recently constructed... all these things since of the customers may complain about aren't exactly reasonably corrected. New doors, when it truly could just be sanded and painted properly?.. paper thin walls?? Insulation by nature settles, compacts, and becomes significantly less effective, and to remedy that you basically have to gut so much of the wallboard, update all the furniture cause between movung it in and out of the rooms, disassembling and reassembling, labor error, and the like it'll be mostly beyond the standards Marriott upholds. Since installing cabinets for DCS on a few of their TPS, I can tell you some stories of just how much wanting to upgrade or correct one thing, to make it perfect, can cause another 6 to have to be completely rehauled as well. I've recently taken to the rewards program like an achievement to attain, barring other hotel corporations from consideration. Aiming to maximize my experiences and stays time schedule and how long i want to relax and enjoy my stay. Netting points on days I need only to sleep, saving money here and there, sleeping in later!(PacNW afterall) Packages like an all American girl in the Seattle north/bellvue residence Inn to impress my wife and truly stun and spoil her. My favorite Marriott signature business plan? Offering such a wide arrange of economical to extravagant hotels, and then crossed with either an extremely lax and connoisseurs atmosphere of being pampered, or the way more beneficial and realistically normal life suites that can feature full apartment amenities. Kitchens, more comfortable furniture for long term stays of wiping kid noses and rubbing lotion on sunburns, cooking 5 mini meals a day while your hubby works, and another big one for his supper, and having room to accommodate so many visitors and to meet so many...

I have to give this one a low rating. The overall experience ended up good, but night 1 was so bad that it can't lift the rest out.

Pros: Residence Inns are nice because they provide the option of having a bedroom. We really like this, so we tend to stick with them when we travel.

Night 1: We checked in at 1pm. Room G09. They said our room was ready and we were appreciative. We put our stuff in the room and set out on the town. When we got back, I took a shower. I noticed the ceiling in the bathroom was bowed in a bit on one side and was clearly spongy with water. Wasn't too big a deal, but was kind of offputting. It looked like that section could let go at any point.

When we tried to go to sleep was the big issue. We laid down around 10:30pm. The bed BORDERS the elevator shaft. So any time someone would come in the door right next to the elevator or ride the elevator, it was so loud that sleep was impossible. If it wasn't the elevator running, it was the fact that the smoking station was right outside the bedroom window, so you could hear people conversing while smoking. the hallway near there always smelled like cigarettes or pot because of this too. We didn't fall asleep until around 1am that night and then were up shortly after 5am because of the elevator and door again.

THere is no reason someone should be given that room. We sure as heck shouldn't have been given that room for a 4 night stay at $145/night. Checking in at 1pm with an empty parking lot on a Wednesday makes me believe that this room wasn't the only option available. There's also no way I would believe that the staff that works there don't know how bad that room is.

The next day, I went to the front desk during breakfast and was told they could look at moving me, but I'd have to come back at noon because they had nothing else available. I checked back around then and was told there was still nothing available but they would look at it over the course of the day. I was moved to a similar room on the 2nd floor which was much more like the expected experience.

Residence inn as a property is a great chain. We love the bedroom, kitchen, etc. The TVs are small and the tech is outdated. The TV package lacks quite a bit and with the tiered internet access (basic for free, or pay for premium to stream) it's not as enticing as it once was.

Staff was friendly when we interacted.

I simply cannot give a higher review as that first night of sleep was the worst night of sleep I've ever...

Sad, pathetic Residence Inn – Not Marriott standard; Stand in dirty shower water; dirty sink It is sad that Marriott and Residence Inn let’s there property deteriorate to the point that quality standards are breached, and normal hotel amenities become questionable and lacking. This property is lacking proper management, and it shows. Ice maker in freezer sucks, and makes about 5 tiny ice cubes per day. What a joke. 2nd day around 10am the water in the hotel room would not work. No water! Called front desk and guy said maintenance was fixing a pipe. Yeah? Why not tell the guests that this is happening so they know in advance e? I have been at many fine hotels in my travels where the staff had to address an emergency issue – and they were smart and courteous enough to print fliers and post a notice, or slide notes under the door - so guests would know. Obviously the management at this hotel does not care enough about the guests to do simple courtesy’s. Next morning saw a stack of folded clean towels (they were not balled up like dirty towels, but neatly folded, obviously clean), on the floor of the hallway with a clipboard next to them. Clipboard always used by manager so probably housekeeping manager set clean towels on the hallway floor. Where do you think they went next? Yep – right on the towel rack in Your room! Disgusting, unhealthy practices at this hotel. The bathroom – ha! Sink has a disgusting filth ring around the edge where house-keeping does not thoroughly clean it. Shower curtain is disgusting! It is so stiff from soap mildew that it could stand up by itself. Also the shower curtain is not long enough to cover the tub area. Shower drain does not drain properly so guest can enjoy standing in their own dirty shower water. Room carpets show dirt and wear and lack proper attention and routine cleaning. Hallways are disgustingly dirty. With the Hilton Garden Inn just down the street, I am not sure why people would stay here. On a good note, there is a decent channel line-up, and a nice evening reception on Mon thru Wed with complimentary beer, wine,...
