Rickochet Billiards — Attraction in Prairieville

I am a regular customer here. I am extremely irritated by the service or lack thereof from tonight. I went in with a friend and waited for 10 minutes while the bartender was looking at a friend of hers phone. I patiently waited, and the gentleman who owned the phone told her she has customers. She knew the whole time we were attempting to get service. She looked at him and blatantly stated: "I dont care". Even after all this I was cool calm and collected. Waited another few minutes while she was more engaged with the phone than she was with her job. I looked at my friend asked him if he wanted to go. He said yes. The owner of the phone then told her we were leaving and she again stated: "i dont care". Then she said "bye felicia" to further instigate a confrontation. I remained calm really kind of regretfully so because she really kind of hit a nerve. I am a veteran diagnosed with PTSD I have been working on self medicating through keeping calm, but she almost lit a fuse. Had this been 5 years ago it really would have...

"We have a dress code no tanktops* bartender wears tanktops and dudes come in wearing gym clothes Yeah, totally a place I'd love bring my friends for a night out. I checked the website, all it Says is proper attire, nothing else. In 100 degree south LA weather, tanktops are proper 🤨 Not coming back with that being my first and only impression.

I’d like to add after seeing the response, it’s pretty lame to a 21 plus only BAR and not allow “provocative dress” aka tank tops lol. What a joke. This 100% gives me the vibe that this place is for “dude bros” who spike drinks and/or buy drinks for women and demand their attention for doing so. If you want to find a SAFE place to place billiards, darts, or just to enjoy a drink at the bar, this is where you want to go. We never go out as parents with young kids, but we took a chance and went to Rickochet's Saturday night and they didn't disappoint. At one point in the night, I thought my purse had been stolen, however it was picked up by someone in our group. Crystal, BARTENDER EXTRAORDINAIRE locked the door, turned off the music and made an annoucement. I was mortified that she had to do it when it was not in fact stolen, but the fact that she did means I will go there every opportunity I have. In addition, she makes some INCREDIBLE shots that I've never heard of (guess I'm just old)....
