We had a great time in the park even tho it was off season and several lightning delays/closures happened. The S.M.H. park app could be a bit more informative in real time conditions and have more info in general. Several weather closures today for several hours so, it would be nice to know about via the app because we had to walk all over just to find out that all the attractions were closed due to lightning. 4-D theater shut down in the middle of our show due to mechanical issues. 🫤 But plenty of stuff to just look at and the Dinosaur area was cute, loved the animatronic dinosaurs, taking pics with them. Finally able to get to the top via SkyRide after it opened back up (4 hours later than planned) 🙃 and we rode the train (2 hours later than planned) but it was still all great!!! The Top was great!! Amazing view and great pics...😍. Top of Stone Mountain is unlevel, rough and very difficult to use any assisted mobility devices. I didn't even try the hiking areas this trip! We purchased our tickets online but had to still wait in the lines until we got our paper wristbands and tickets. I highly recommend getting the souvenir cup because that days refills are free. VIP tickets were great too so we could skip the few lines there were once in the park as I have difficulty standing for long periods of time. Pink parking lot was right at SkyRide/train area. We did buy the laser show ticket package and it was amazing. Car was located in an area where we could easily return to it grab our chairs and small cooler for the laser show.

"Stone Mountain, Georgia, is a very beautiful place! The park's centerpiece, the vast granite mountain, is awe-inspiring, offering breathtaking views and a unique historical presence. For outdoor enthusiasts, the hiking trails are well-maintained and diverse, suitable for all ages and skill levels. The Skyride to the summit provides an effortless way to enjoy the scenic view. Additionally, the park's historical and cultural attractions, including the Antebellum Plantation and Farmyard, offer a deep dive into Georgia's rich heritage. The staff throughout the park are friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. Stone Mountain is not just a park; it's a vibrant, educational, and exhilarating experience that is perfect for families, history lovers, and nature lovers alike. A visit here is an unforgettable journey through natural beauty and history. Highly recommended!"
