Tamiami Trail Shops — Attraction in Doral

I have been going to this location for years because it is the closest to my home. I suffer from 7 spine surgeries, strokes, Cushing syndrome, left kidney issues, a cancerous mass removed, in short I’m in and out of that facility constantly. The last 3 times I’ve been there I’ve had deal with the rudest woman I’ve ever encountered in any kind of medical environment. Leticia D, not only has made it a point to not be accommodating but has outright screamed at me in front of a room full of people as though I were a child. The first time I had the misfortune to meet this lady, I had no idea I needed an appointment to pick up tubes for a specific exam, she doesn’t speak English and in her loud uncalled for rude Spanish told me I needed an appointment for tubes for saliva collection. The second time, my endocrinologist asked me to get a series of blood tests done prior to 9:00am, my appointment was for 8:30. At 8:45 I became concerned I would not make it in on time, I knocked on the door and she told me I was late! I corrected her, showed her my QR, did my sign in before hand and was simply letting her know these test had to be done before 9:00am. With attitude and mumbling under her breath once again rudely she left me waiting. Today my appointment was at 12:30, I arrived at 11:45, signed in and when someone came to the door I simply explained that my lease was up, my husband of 66, and I were sharing a car and if I didn’t have the car at home at noon he wouldn’t make it to work on time. Granted, I understand it is I with the issue, but I was simply dropping off tubes and had she been considerate about my situation a few key strokes would have been sufficient to find me, my information and help me considering I have been to that location 3 times in one month. Instead, she once again spoke rudely, screamed, scorned me like a child and I pleaded with her to no avail. I left without turning in my tubes because my husband cannot afford to loose his job! This woman should not be in any capacity near the medical field. She lacks education, compassion, empathy, and much class. I wasn’t trying to bump anyone, in fact there was a gentleman waiting who said he had to do a urine sample and could hardly hold it and she wouldn’t let him in. No one else at that facility has this poor demeanor, no one! The ladies all know me, know my long and winded medical history and are courteous not to mention empathetic. I lost my ability to leave my samples, my exams are incomplete and I will be driving almost 35 minutes more just to never encounter Leticia D. I like this publix but I wish they had a pharmacy there. Other than that my only issue is the some of older ladies they have working as the cashiers.
