I had never been to Bone Fish Restaurant, but I had heard a lot of comments as a good choice for an ordinary family meal. We left the airport where we were picking up my nephew who came from NY with hunger, and decided to stop at Bone Fish, that we had on the way home. It was early, there were 15 minutes until 6:00 PM. It was that intermediate hour when lunch was over, but dinner has not started yet. Tuesday is not a very striking day to go to a restaurant. We arrived and found a pleasant atmosphere, with a soft lighting and a musicalization of those that put in airports or elevators. Horrible! It sounded like a song that repeated without giving a different chord, or a different sentence, neither in the lyrics nor in the music. The Hostess who received us gave us such a large amount of different papers, with special offers, different menus that it seemed that we were going to register a Master in the University and not to have dinner. He offered us to sit where we wanted, but it seemed to us that we chose a table too far from where the main activity was. There were very few people and the atmosphere in general was nice. The bathroom was clean and smelled good. It seems that there was only one waitress serving the area of tables where we had not sat. We waited a lot, nobody came or brought us water. Finally a Bus Boy (girl one) came and told us that she was going to take the order because the waitress was very busy. Really very kind the girl. Finally, she brought us water, and bread with olive oil perfumed with spices, really good. Two of the diners at the table ordered a “Bang Bang Shrimps Tacos” and the third diner ordered “Sear Tuna with Mango Salsa, Avocado over Jasmine Rice”. The tacos were quite mediocre, three soft tacos with three bang bang shrimp inside. On them a kind of "pico de gallo" and a strand of Mexican cream. It did not come with a spicy sauce, the green tomatillo that he announced in the menu must have run away before reaching the table. Of the dish of tacos the best ones were the French Fries, well-seasoned and very, very, crispy. The tuna that my nephew devoured did not seem great, but edible, especially with the hunger he had. We did not eat or drink anything else. The bill was $ 49.00. It is true that what was served pointed more towards a fast food restaurant, than towards a restaurant in every sense of the word, but the atmosphere was pleasant (although I reiterate that the musical selection was frightening). We did not have a bad time. But I definitely would not recommend anyone to eat there, unless you came from the airport in the middle of a rush hours of the evening traffic with a...
Read moreA Dining Experience That Redefines Excellence. Bonefish Grill on 8th Street is a Culinary Gem. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves a standing ovation. From the moment we walked into Bonefish Grill on 8th Street in Miami, it was clear we were in for something extraordinary. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—inviting, vibrant, and polished, with a touch of Miami soul that makes you feel right at home. The service? Flawless. Our server anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. And the manager Daniel—let me just say, it’s rare to see someone lead with such genuine passion and hospitality. You can feel his influence in every corner of the restaurant, from the way the staff operates like a well-oiled machine to the way every plate hits the table with pride. Now let’s talk food. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp (of course) and it was perfection. Crispy, creamy, spicy, and addictive. The seasonal specials were out of this world, fresh, creative, and plated like artwork. I had the wood-grilled Chilean Sea Bass and I swear, if I could marry a dish, that would be it. It melted in my mouth. Every bite was buttery, delicate, and infused with flavor. Even the sides had their moment. The garlic whipped potatoes and jasmine rice were dreamy. And the cocktails? Dangerous in the best way. William behind the bar deserves a trophy. The Smoked Old Fashioned could win awards. If you’re looking for a place where every detail matters, where the food leaves you speechless, and where the team actually cares that you’re having a great time, this is it. Whether it’s date night, a celebration, or you just want to treat yourself, Bonefish Grill on 8th Street is THE spot. A five-star experience that deserves ten. I’ll be back....
Read moreLet me start off by saying that I am a regular ad Bonefish Grill at several locations. I have been to this location in the past and service was good. Two weeks ago my family and I went there for dinner and the service and experience was horrible. My waitress was Amanda and it started off great until both of my kids meals came and it was literally less than what a kids meal at Chick-fil-A would give you. I mentioned to her that the kids got 4 pieces of popcorn chicken, and 6 fries -she mentioned they weighed the plates and this is how it is and maybe it’s because of inflation. I explained to her that we always come there and other Bonefish grills and it is never this way. My boys are six and nine years old and they were very hungry, and this was less than a kids meal at a fast food restaurant. she then mentioned she would get a manager. When the manager Elias came, he started arguing with my husband saying that they weigh the plates and this is how it is. He kept arguing with my husband instead of just offering more food or offering to take it off the bill. The money is not the problem, we have dinner at bonefish Grill almost every weekend. I got upset and said if you’re not gonna offer anything then just go away. Amanda then told the manager to please offer us more food so he did. I cannot believe the experience that I had there being that this is not a fast food restaurant. I was appalled and I will never...
