Read moreI have shopped in this place often and have brought many out of town visitors there. On my last visit, I stopped by the golf memorabilia booth to browse. I looked at a golf flag and checked out the price on the back and hung it back up. Apparently one of the booth owners was watching. Although I had said nothing (and was actually thinking about buying it) - the booth owner stepped out in front of me and started on a tirade about how he wished he had never purchased the flags (it was during Masters week and they had been purchased from the National) and no one appreciated the fact that he had stood in line at 5am and was only marking them up $15! He kept on and on as I tried to escape him - and I had not commented or done anything except check a price tag! He ended the tirade with a big “…and if they don’t want to pay me for my time, well screw them!” Since the they/them in question was at the moment-me…this customer will never be in there to browse again. Such a fit over nothing!!...
Read moreI usually only came here for the retro game lot they have in the back, but today was customer appreciation day for them and they had an awesome sale through the entire store. I looked around and the whole store has so much more to offer that I didn’t even realize. On top of my stack of retro games I purchased I left with more knowledge of what they had to offer.
Also, the staff is always so friendly. Offered to hold my items at the front so I had my hands free to look around and one of the ladies that worked there asked me if I needed a basket several times. I didn’t each time, but I love the kind gestures.
