DO NOT come into this store for jewlery repair as they will replace your original gold for some cheap Chinese material and deny any claims. The repair is done in a back office where associates can’t be watched. I was greeted by an associate named “Will” and explained that my gold necklace simply needed to be welded together beause it had broke. The wait time and price for the process was great but don’t let that fool you because it will cost you. Upon receiving my necklace I noticed some of the gold links did not match up with my other links and my 14kt gold clasp were replaced by some cheap 10kt gold clasp. When I confronted “Will” about the replacement he denied all of my claims and said “The company has a 5 star rating and would not jepordize its great ratings over an incident so small. If you would like you can come back in tomorrow and speak with the manager and review footage to see that nothing was replaced.” Unfortunately the manager was not there at the time to help resolve the issue. I was so furious because there was not much I could do. The only reason I noticed my gold was replaced was because the welding job was done so terribly and the new gold had such a cheap metallic shine. If I could I would post a picture of just how much of bad job was done just to put this business to shame. I will never and I recommed that you would never go to this place to repair real gold as they will exchange or replace it with some lower quality material in their back office and...
Read moreMy fiance was so relieved when he found Waterford Jewelers, because they were willing to do a custom engagement ring exactly the way he wanted. Other places hadn’t been helpful and didn’t have as many options. When it came to choosing our wedding bands, we also found the best options at Waterford Jewelers. We worked with Frank and Nellie, who were both very accommodating. We ordered a custom wedding band for me, and because it was custom, there was no way to see it until it was finished. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. This was no fault of the jeweler, but the owner did seem to get a bit angry when I told him. Imagine picking up your wedding ring and realizing you don’t like it - not a good feeling. I decided how I wanted to modify it, so I paid for that and ended up loving it! The diamonds were very small and delicately placed, and within a month, 4 had fallen out. I had to take it in twice to be fixed. I’m not sure if this was a result of the modification made or not. My husband’s ring also managed to get very tarnished and scratched quickly. They had to re-size his originally because it was too big (even though they had measured his finger). Overall, our experience was rather stressful, but we were happy to find a place willing to do so much...
Read moreI purchased a mens gold and diamond studded wedding ring from this jeweler. After taking the ring home I noticed that there was discoloration and a crack in the “gold” part of the band. When i brought it back was told that the crack was part of the design and that the discoloration of the gold was it just being dirty. After they cleaned the ring and “fixed” the dark spots they had made the dark spots much worse. The dark spots became much worse because they added Rhodium paint to the gold portion of the ring. After doing so tried to give the ring back to me as if it was in perfect condition. The ring is now much more discolored than it was before and jeweler is refusing to give me a refund for the damaged product they sold me. They also have a 14 day exchange policy which they cannot fulfill on their end because they do not have a similar ring to replace this one with. I am now trapped into purchasing a different product all of which are much more expensive than what i purchased from a jeweler i no longer trust, or accept the damaged ring that was sold to me. Please be careful when doing...
