Waterford Lakes Town Center — Attraction in Alafaya

I love the variety of stores in this mall. Everything from Target to Sephora to high-end kicks to smoothies to specialty cookies ( kinda pricey and not that great but to each his own - way too $$$ for what they are- kind of dry ) . Buy 1 or 2 and see... I made the mistake of buying 9 and then didn't like them ! The WL Mall though is awesome 😎 Everytime I go, I make a point of checking at least 1 new place out thoroughly just to see if they stand out in other ways besides what products they sell. I'll keep you posted. I have to say that the Target there has excellent customer service ( except for the older male ). I took a 2 receipts that were quite faded and the old dude just didn't want to bother with it but the mgr. came and I asked if I could get store credit ( I had 2 blenders - long story) and he said he could override on 1 of them . I went to shop, came back and the new female manager and Josh ( the 1st mgr was a 'Josh' too) and the very young man at the front also Josh was a treat. He figured out the whole code for me and the new mgr, a young girl, did an override on the 2nd blender and 2 shirts as well. I have store credit which is better than 2 blenders I don't need. Thanks to Josh and Josh and the young lady mgr ! You all ROCK ! Tell the older guy that he's in my age range and he's setting a bad example just dismissing a long time customer like me and he almost cost TARGET a good customer permanently. He should thank his stars that 3 younger co-workers saved the day. To top it off- he didn't even say I'm sorry I couldn't figure the way out for you- the very least. They made him look unnecessary and I will make sure to avoid him every time I go there ( I should make a small complaint along with my visit LOL 😆). I'll...

Love Waterford lakes!! Parking lot can be a bit tricky to navigate, especially during busy times. The Cinema and grounds are always beautifuly maintained and security is always visible. I feel safe shopping or dining there day or night. Nice array of restaurants to chose from for every price budget. But the best part is the diverse selection of stores to shop at!!! Something for baby Annie all the way to great Grammy. They have stores I didn't even know existed! A few are now some of my favorites like Lizard Thicket and Buckle's! Plus there is ALWAYS a sale going on!! I love it! High end shopping at a great price. And since I'm a blood donor a perk is the big Red Bus to donate is usually there on weekends. More often then not they also offer free movie tickets for donating! I yet to turn in my coupons for free tickets because I always seem to forget them, but the thought is there and I love the convenience of it! The only down side is not all stores open and close at the same time. Some are not even open on Sunday or Monday's. So I do suggest checking online for open and close times if you have a particular store you need to go to....

This place is ALWAYS busy. But... it's a mall, what do you expect, right?

Recommendation: Park in the middle, and walk everywhere (weather permitting).

Driving around can be disastrous and extremely frustrating - anything from lack of parking spaces (affects most shops on the corners of the main road), tight parking, newbies that don't know where they're going, "that" person that rams into your parking spot despite you signaling and were about to park.... Then there's the main entrance, where it's a 4 way stop free for all.... Side entrance, where if you're in the outer most lane turning into Waterford Lakes Parkway, there's congestion since a lot of cars enter the mall through the first entrance (you risk blocking traffic/intersection, at times)... There's a security tower by the movie theater, so if you let your teenage kids go crazy, it's not too bad.

Simon (the management company) has upgraded a lot of things over the years. Signage and outdoor music, now definitely a plus. Landscaping is roughly the same. Don't bring your fancy car here, and...
