I visit farmers markets all over the Southeast, and I was looking forward patronizing this market and support local vendors. I was particularly interested in trying the waffle vendor!
However, as soon as I arrived, I was approached and told my dog was not allowed into the market due to health policies. I had actually come from the Fort Mill market where many dogs were present, and in my experience with outdoor markets, dogs are very typically allowed and actually welcomed with bowls of water. While I can respect the rules of individual markets, there is no mention of this policy on their website. We love visiting on Saturday morning (free parking ), and getting fresh vegetables and fruit as well as other items like fresh eggs, meat, and waffles!!! There are vendors who make and sell soap, wonderful, long lasting candles, leather and wood products, face masks and even a knife sharpener! Each week there is live music.
