Judson Nails Art — Attraction in Converse

I think if we're honest, some of us would admit that there is a bit of anxiety when searching for a new nail salon to patronize. We wonder if we'd receive quality service, a great nail tech whom is careful and has phenomenal attention to detail. We'd love it if we can find a location where we don't feel rushed and for me, I certainly don't want to be cut under any circumstances.

Well, I found this little gem by way of reviews on Yelp! I am pleased to say that they checked all of my boxes and I was anxiety free! John greeted me when I walked in. I was a walk-in a little after 6:00 PM. It was pretty full at the time and although I had 3 options of nail techs in mind by way of the reviews, I was open to be seen by anyone if the vibe was right.

I was asked to wash my hands before being seated in a pedicure chair. Taylor came to assist me with my pedicure and quite frankly, I should've known she would be magic because she filled my tub with the right temperature before asking me to place my feet in. I tend to like a more hotter temperature due to the time a pedicure takes, I prefer not to have my feet sitting in cool to cold water. Taylor got it right without my request to turn the heat up.

Taylor was very attentive to detail. I'm not sure I've ever had anyone who cleaned my cuticles the way she did. She cleared and got it all WITHOUT cutting me or going too deep. Did I mention, she did not cut me?! ;)

I was served a Coke with straw and enjoyed watching America's Got Talent with minimal small talk. I was fine either way and felt it was just the right amount of conversation.

Taylor suggested my nail color and did an amazing job on my pedicure and manicure with Shellac! Again, her attention to detail and taking her time is unmatched! I can't wait to go back and book with her again.

Hands down, the BEST nail salon I’ve ever been to! I’ve been coming here regularly, and every visit is a 10/10 experience. The salon is always clean, relaxing, and beautifully maintained—but what truly makes this place special is the people.

John is amazing! His attention to detail, skill, and care with every service is unmatched. He takes his time and makes sure you leave with nails that look perfect every single time. On top of that, he's warm, friendly, and just genuinely great to talk to.

The rest of the staff is equally fantastic—super professional, welcoming, and always make you feel like part of the family. Whether you're getting a quick polish change or a full spa pedicure, they go above and beyond to make you feel pampered.

1 week after receiving my service- my nails started cracking, breaking and tearing BAD. I’ve been getting gel nails on and off for about 7 years. I haven’t had a manicure in some months because we just moved here and my nails were long and strong prior to my manicure, I’ve NEVER had this issue in the past 7 years. My nails are tearing from my skin. My pinky nail is half gone because it’s torn so bad. Several of my other nails have torn off of the nail bed itself as well. I’ve had 5 of my nails wrapped up in bandaids trying to keep them from tearing down further.
