I know it should've been a red flag when my mother and I used our day passes one night and a group of younger gym goers were blasting a boom box and a girl was using the middle aisle of the gym as a basketball court. However, because this gym was within walking distance and we were members when it was Anytime Fitness, we still signed up a few weeks later. After deciding it was not a good fit for us personally and were under the impression it was a month-to month, no contract membership, my mom called and spoke with a female staff member who answered, on speaker. I heard the lady agree to cancel both memberships for one $69 charge, stressing it was the best she could do since technically we signed the contracts. She also said ALL staff members make it a point to tell their members about the commitment required. When she was told we were not informed and how we even signed up right in front of a staff member, she just said it comes down to a "he said/she said situation" and as a small business she has to look out for the business. So, we ended up paying $150 for 2 memberships to start up and $69 to cancel for only 6 visits that were no more than an hour. Beware of hidden fees, bad customer service, and false website that doesn't disclose on its signup page that there will be a 6 months contract, all it says is "TMF Monthly Membership", which would make one think that it's a month to month membership, not a contract for 6 months.

Also, 99% of the time there will be no one at the front desk. I had to wait a week to get my FOB after I signup online. There is no squat rack, or any elliptical machines to do cardio on. Security is nonexistent, high school kids will come in, and let all there friends enter the gym for free. It’ll be nice to know they report to a credit bureau if you stop going, i just started looking for a home and had no clue they hit my credit pretty hard until I did more research and turns out they want a little over 2k to get them off my credit, crazy golds gym never gave this kind of trouble, I know before covid they were renting out there equipment I wonder how that went I heard some folks never returned that stuff, I’ll just say i will never refer any of my friends to this gym I’ll also will be adding this to my next door app letting ppl around my community know, never will get my business ever, customer service is good for you to sign up but once you stop going they...
