I took a laptop to Cash's Computer because it would not boot up. After paying the diagnostic fee of $56.05, I was told the hard drive was bad. He could order me a hard drive for $110, or sell me a used one for $70. The limiting factor for me was a $400 laptop that after buying a hard drive for I would have to spend an additional monies in one of his packages for him to do the work.
For me it did not make sense to spend that kind of money when I could go to Walmart and get a replacement for around the same price.
Before leaving he did offer to take it off my hands for a trade in.
Well, a few days later, the hard drive was formatted and windows reloaded on a hard drive that was "bad".
I went back into Cash's business and waited for the other customer to leave so I could talk to him in private. I told him that the hard drive was not bad and asked for my diagnostic fee back because his analysis was wrong.
I told him he was getting a review one way or another, but I was going to give him a chance to make it right.
He flew off the handle and told me that he did not appreciate being called a liar. I told him that I did not say that he was a liar, but that he was incompetent. He wanted to pull the hard drive out of the laptop to try and prove to me that it was indeed corrupted. Why would I even allow him to do that when it was now working after being formatted?
People make mistakes, we all do. But this guy when given the opportunity to make it right - he refused, and conducted himself like a narcissist screaming like a small child.
I would urge extreme caution in using...
Read moreI was a repeat customer, until my most recent visit. Cash is great at what he does, however he is quite vocal about his political views and is less than excepting of differing opinions. For the record, I didn't initiate the conversation on politics. I'm fine with just not discussing them when the difference of opinion is stated and I have no interest in trying to change the opinion of others. I only ask for the same respect rather than being called names because my thoughts differ. Our views may differ and that's okay, but to be disrespectful to your customer for not agreeing with you is extremely unprofessional. I showed no disrespect and expect the same from anyone I do business with.

When you own the business, your personal conduct is a direct reflection of your professional image. My wife may have disagreed with your moral standpoint, but the disrespectful attitude toward her after making her views known is why I have a problem with you on a professional level. Asking your customers "How screwed do you think we are?" is a poor way to initiate any conversation, be it political or otherwise. It assumes a level of familiarity that is far beyond any professional relationship. Please do yourself and your future customers a favor and leave your personal...

I came in with an issue pertaining to my ASUS gaming laptop. My motherboard needed to be replaced, and as such it would not turn on at all. I was charged $90 per hour of labor for a total of $270, and $375 for the motherboard itself coming out to $645.
Unfortunately, the motherboard that came in was defective. My headphone jack, bluetooth adapter and WiFi adapter were no longer working when I got it back. However, Mr. Cash provided excellent accommodations. Offering to send it back, and get me one that worked better, and ran even cooler than the first one for absolutely no extra charge. Gave me tips and suggestions on how to help my computer run smoothly, as well as how to take care of it for the long haul. It is in perfect working condition now, and even better than it used to. I could not be more pleased.
The prospect of losing my computer was very upsetting, and stressful. I have a lot of history, and important files. And buying a new computer outright was not in my budget. The integrity, professionalism, and complimentary services Mr. Cash provided helped ease those concerns greatly, and if I ever have issues in the future, I will be returning in good faith. And I implore others to...
