This place allowed for a very relaxing, therapeutic experience. Rather than participate in a group activity that is scheduled and structured, The Sketching Pad offers a drop-in option. I was very pleased with this. Once inside, you will find that there are a wide array of beautiful portraits that you can select from and have your way with recreating. You even have the option of selecting the size of your canvas. Not only that, you will find that you are not limited to painting on canvas. There are many things that you can create. Overall, what I enjoyed most about this place are the many options you are alloted to exercise your creativity. This is a wonderful place for the Artist at heart to find serenity. Even so, if you feel that you're not very artsy, but still would enjoy a unique midday, or night out experience, grab yourself a bottle of wine, come on in, and allow Jennifer and the rest of the staff to provide you the instruction and support you may need to discover and release your inner artist. Read moreI have done LOTS of paint and sip type events and nothing compares to the experience I had here! First off…you can paint a canvas in one of 3 sizes or you can choose any of a number of ceramic items to paint! I love that they will sketch what you want to paint either on the canvas OR the ceramic item. Andrew and Jennifer greeted my friends and me and helped us through our painting and indecision and just everything!
There was a party happening in the next room but we still received personalized attention while there. I loved it here! It felt like home!
There are so many options for creativity and I foresee many…MANY days here. Andrew, Jennifer and Skylar made my first visit memorable.
I went back a second time a few days later and still felt just as warm and welcomed as my first. I can’t...

Unbeknownst to me, there was a young man pouring sweat from every pore of his body trying to change her tire. The bolts were extremely tight, but he refused to give up and leave her stranded. This man didn't have an audience, or had anything to gain from helping her. He was just genuinely a good person. He told us that he and his wife owned the art studio. Now, I don't know him from Adam, but I do know that he and his wife are good people. Please patronize this establishment, they deserve all the success in the world! There's a lot to be said about people that do the right thing, even when no...
