My wife and I were so excited to try this place. The staff was very friendly and the place is decorated nice and clean….BUT!!!!!!! . When the lady brought our food to the table there was a long hair sitting on top… not in the food but on top of the container. I ordered the buttermilk chicken tenders with green beans and a side portion of meatloaf and Mac and cheese. My wife ordered the fried catfish with dressing and Mac and cheese. The only thing that tasted good was the chicken tenders. The Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft velveeta made with sour milk. None of the food has any seasoning, it tasted like hospital food. Instant mashed potatoes, dressing tasted and looked like baby food… I’m not exaggerating any details. Meatloaf looked like it came out of a can of dog food. The taste was not bad but it looked and had the consistency of a can of dog food. If I was to go back it would be for the chicken tenders only.

We ordered takeout, and the process was a little confusing. The food was good, albeit pricy. I got a vegetable plate, and the greens and cabbage were perfect. The fried okra looked good, but the okra itself was undercooked. The Mac and cheese was disappointing. It looked phenomenal, but it was way too tangy. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie and was disappointed. The green beans gave it an earthy flavor. Both the roll and cornbread were fantastic. The roll was surprisingly flavorful. The cornbread was sweet and not too dry. We tried the banana pudding and chocolate cake. Both were just okay.

✨ What a hidden gem! ✨ We loved our visit to Iron Skillet Restaurant — it’s not your average stop! The setting is charming and pintoresque, with a cozy, old-school vibe that makes you feel right at home. 🏡🍳 The food was hearty and delicious, the service was warm, and the atmosphere… unforgettable. A perfect little spot for a laid-back meal and good company. Highly recommend for anyone who loves places with character and great comfort food

This place is disgusting. I ordered the chicken and catfish with Mac. The Mac n cheese was ok kinda. But the fish was over seasoned, and chicken dried out hours before they served it. Had the misfortune of speaking to the owner cesh, who immediately made excuses for his staff. No accountability. And they don’t take responsibility. I had a situation with the wrong to go order at Las Flores which he also owns. They never remade my food or gave me my money back after I brought the food back with the receipt showing the order was wrong. The gentleman told me it was my fault, I should have checked my food before I left. And there’s no manager on duty to issue a refund or authorize a remake. Don’t waste your time at either of these places. Las Flores employs a bunch of kids, with no real training. And iron skillet looks at you funny if...

Feels Just Like Home!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at The Iron Skillet in Conyers, Georgia, and I haven’t stopped raving about it since! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped into a warm Southern kitchen full of love, laughter, and comfort.

Let me tell you — the Country Fried Steak was next-level. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside — it tasted just like something that came straight from Mom’s kitchen. It brought back memories of Sunday dinners and family gatherings, where the food wasn’t just delicious — it was made with care.

The service was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and everything about this place radiated Southern hospitality. If you’re ever in Conyers and craving real down-home cooking, The Irons Skillet is a must. I’ll definitely be back — and I’m...
