We recently took a little time to wander through Olde Town Conyers, and honestly, I can't believe we waited so long to explore it. Nestled in the heart of Rockdale County, this charming town feels like stepping into a storybook — the kind of place you don’t expect to find unless you're really looking for it.

Brick-lined sidewalks lead you past cozy boutiques, local cafés, and historic storefronts that hold onto a simpler time. There’s a peaceful rhythm to the town — not rushed or flashy, just inviting. Not a ton going on when we visited because it was a Monday but also seemed like they could really lean in a little more to the tourists visiting for the Originals show like Covington has for Vampire Diaries fans. There were some shops that had leaned into it but seemed like a lot of shops had closed down. I could see this being a really cool bustling area for tourists of all kinds to shop and eat. Otherwise, it's a very cute area to visit and I'm sure the locals appreciate the peacefulness of it with a cute little park...

Visited for the Always and Forever Con. That was amazing - scorching hot though. Events were very intense and not at all organized, but very fun and very interesting. Met amazing friendly people. Met some amazing actors. Really wish they make this event an annual thing or at least have it again - hopefully indoors next time or later in the year when it’s cold.
