We went here on a lark, thinking "let's spend a little money and get a GOOD meal, not just something quick. I'd never had pad Thai before, so I ordered it. Not impressed. Asked my wife (a Thai food nut) if it was supposed to taste like this and she laughed and said "baby I'm sorry but you still haven't had pad Thai."

Sushi was decent but overpriced. If you're not going to spend the time to smoke the salmon, don't call it smoked salmon roll and don't charge me 12$ for 8 pieces. Basil rolls were good - really interesting flavor profile.

Thai iced tea was good (a little too sweet), but 4$?? For tea and cream??? 4$? I'll take a water too please, thanks. Oh yeah, the waiter was super positive and polite, but my guy ... This is Georgia... In the summer.... It's hot. Keep that water coming, big man. There shouldn't be three empty glasses at my table, it was 5pm, there was ONE other table. What were you doing that was so all-fired important that your guests took a back seat? You out back catching pokemon or something?

Ultimately it cost me 90$ for a lackluster experience (with tip) and two to go boxes of disappointing noodles. Oh, yeah, it was just me, my wife and our 11 year old... almost 100$ out the door. I should have just spent 30$ at Wendy's or something, at least then I could EXPECT the disappointment.

The old house is cute though, I guess...

I typically order take out from here for myself and staff at least twice a month. The food has always been good and I've never had any issues until yesterday when I decided to dine in for lunch alone. I got there for a late lunch around 3:30 pm. I was greeted by a young lady who told me to sit anywhere. I looked to my left and there was one party eating so I went to my right where no one was. So with me and the other couple there was a total of 3 people there. I ordered my food and got it pretty quickly. As I am eating one of my spring rolls I feel something really hard hit my tooth and pulled out a piece of plastic - it was like a plastic tie. I told my waitress and she said she didn't know where that came from because they don't have anything like that back there and she would get the manager. She then took the plastic on a piece of tissue with her to the back. A few minutes later she came back and said the manager was too busy to come and talk to me about what I found in my food and she would just remove the spring rolls. Again there was only 3 people here at the time so I am not sure why the manager was too busy to come and speak to me or at least apologize, as I would have appreciated that more than them giving a credit for the spring rolls but I thought this was very poor service and I will not...

Tonight my husband and I were wanting some Thai food and we were actually headed to a local spot less an a few miles from our home. But we decided to search online for somewhere new and came across Thai Palace. I was pleased in seeing so many other favorable reviews that we decided to try it out. We started off with the spring rolls which were very tasty. I ordered the Pad Thai w/Tofu which was very flavorful. I was surprised that it was not served with peanuts and lime like others (all) I have had. However the flavor of the dish was good enough that I didn't miss it too much, and I didn't feel the need to ask for any. Hubby had a chicken dish with veggies that was served with white rice (sorry I don't recall the name) that he said was delicious. We also had some sushi - The Sexy Lady Roll - total awesomeness! The atmosphere was very nice - quaint, semi upscale ambiance. I had on jeans and a T and hubby had on similar, and we didn't feel out of place as there were many other guest similarly dressed. Menu had a wide range of selections and the prices were reasonable. Portions were good. We both left full and satisfied. For the app, two entrees and sushi roll with tip (we gave a little over 20%) came out to $52. Definitely will be back again (with...

I haven't enjoyed Thai cuisine in about 7year so when my best friend wanted to treat me I was elated. He took me to a Thai restaurant in Stone mountain across for the new Black Wall Street and they turned us away because they were on a HOUR BREAK!!!🤬 I will write a scathing review about that restaurant very soon. Well my mouth was all ready for some Thai and the closest to where we were was the Thai Palace♥️ . please understand that I have never tasted Thai so friggin fresh. Our server was running so much trying to make sure we were taken care of because the usual server called in sick. The beautiful decorated Asian art adorned the walls and the vases on the floor. The setting is in a very old house that was transformed into a restaurant. Treat yourself. You deserve it!!! I experienced a true sense of a mystery when eating the two for five sushi rolls. I had the tuna. So yummy 😋

We went here for our Valentine’s dinner. The wait for a table for 2 was 49mins. It appeared to be 2 waitresses and the manager on staff and there were several tables available. When we were seated the waitress was pleasant and took our order. Our appetizers came out really fast but our actual order took very long to come out. My Thai noodles came out first and I was able to almost finish my entree before the first sushi roll came out. I believe they forgot about our order and that’s why it was brought to the table late. We couldn’t eat our dinner together. The manager removed our sexy lady sushi roll off the bill. However the food was cooked very well and tasted great but the service could use room for improvement. I would recommend this for the food. Order out if you are in a rush. Nice building for downtown Conyers.

Stopped in July 4th as it appeared to be the only restaurant open in town. Was surprised to find after we served drinks and left with our menus for a significant period of time that there was “no sushi today”. Despite the neon Sushi light in the front window and Thunder Roll on the specials board right when we walked in. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Apps were fried to perfection but bland. Spicy thai basil had zero spice, minimal flavor with cheap chewy cuts of meat. Husband ordered the ribs which were totally inedible. We would have mentioned it, but the waitress (who was very pleasant and friendly) didn’t return until it was time for the bill. Would not give this place a second chance.
