All 3 of my kids came here. One of them had his wisdom teeth out and they sent him home while he was hemmoraging, and never said a word to me. He ended up in the hospital. They took no accountability, the discharge paperwork had 2 phone numbers for after hours emergencies. Neither myself nor the team at the ER could get through. My daughter also had her wisdom teeth out and they messed up her jaw along with several other teeth that they did other work on which we just found out about recently. I was mind blown when I saw her xrays of her "fillings" they did. THEY SAWED off peices of neighboring teeth that where completely fine to make the filling fit!!!We took her back to talk about her jaw, they dismissed it as TMJ said they where going to try to get approval from the insurance for some kind of mouth guard and never called me back. I called 2x and was never even asked the patients name before they said insurance takes a long time and they usually send you a letter before they tell us anything so just watch your mail. Today- almost a year later we found out what is really wrong with her mouth and it is not TMJ. Poor child has been miserable for so long. My sons extraction happened almost a year ago, he is still being treated by a medical team in another state and right now the medical bills are about 2500$. My daughter is currently under the care of another dentist having repeats of the "work" they did a few months ago. One day, my ex-husband and I accidentally booked appointments at the same time. The kids came out telling me about the staff that was making fun of my ex husband (THEIR FATHER) while they had their hands in my kids mouths. Because they had no idea we where related. Never again. Had unnecessary bite wings, after which, he never looked at them. I had bite-wings less than 3 months prior. I had my x-rays sent from my previous dentist in Houston, he never looked at them. So I submitted to another round - didn't need that - and very painful. I found my own cavity, a tooth chipped tooth was never prep'd for a filling, and it popped out in one month. All he cared about was doing "cosmetic' caps, and I'm fine with my teeth - they are straight, just fine. Why take the time to pressure me on some crowns? Just clean my teeth. And I have a great dentist in Houston, not once have I ever needed a medical clearance for a cleaning in 7 years (I have a metal plate in a wrist)...why need one now - 7 years later? I get it's their 'policy' but if I were to contact some bacterial infection, it would have happened after all the sever bleeding from the unnecessary, poorly administered, bite wings. I bled for two days. I'm not happy about having to find another dentist to put in a filling the PROPER way, because his popped out. You have to prepare the tooth, before putting in something that should adhere. I even asked about not 'sanding it down'. Response "it's not necessary". I thought that 'odd'. Cookeville Regional is the ONLY dentist office I will go to, I tell you this because they are the BEST! They not only do great work but they care about you! They care about your mental health, work schedule, and your financial status. Today I called them with severe tooth pain and they got me in within the hour! I got there extremely upset and nervous cause I didn't know what was wrong and was in so much pain! They first dealt with how upset I was by telling me they were going to fix it to literally wiping my tears away then numbed me before we proceeded any further! Within two hours they calmed my nerves, found the cracked tooth, told me what was causing the tooth to crack, put a porcelain crown on, checked my other teeth just to be safe, gave me a treatment plan with all info and even told me some after care and preventative measures I could take,, then prescribed me medicine for at home recovery. Also they offer botox and professional whitening!!! I absolutely got the botox to help with my clinching muscles and I'll definitely be going back in 6 months for more! I just can't brag on the whole staff enough!
