Went there last night, and was hopeful because it all looked good. Unfortunately it was pretty bad. The first 2 Cheese Krystal's weren't bad, but then I started tasting a weird soggy-ness in my mouth. It was the bread I think. Almost all of them had what I believe to be soggy bread. I ordered the #5 which comes with chili cheese fries, as did my wife and a friend of mine. All 3 were extremely salty. So salty they were inedible. It's like someone dumped cups of salt into the chili and the batch of fries. Not sure if that's normal or not because it was the first time I'd ever been there, and I don't planning on going back. Pulling up to the drive thru was also weird, the guy who was running it(didn't get his name), asked us what we'd like, and after listing one item he just wouldn't say anything, whether he couldn't hear us or if we'd like anything else. It was very confusing, because after every item he would just be silent. It was late, though, about 9:20 PM or so, so I won't fault him too much on that.
Pretty disappointed with everything, unfortunately. Hopefully something changes cause the concept is nice, but man...the quality is...
Read moreFirst off, I have to tell you, I am a White Castle guy. I love White Castle's. I wish we had one here. Where I grew up, we didn't have Krystal's. Just White Castle's or Top Hats. That said, if you can't get a White Castle, the next best thing would be a Krystal, although I hear that the Mini Burger is good. I usually get the # 5. It has 5 cheese burgers & chili cheese fries with a drink. The fries have a fair amount chile & cheese. The Chile cheese pups are pretty good, except sometimes they are a little too salty for my taste. The only other thing I can think of is that the guys at the window are always nice. The only complaint I have is when I am placing my order, I wish they would wait until I have placed my complete order before interrupting me to repeat the order back to me. Sometimes after repeating what I have said they shut the speaker off and I wind up not getting...
Read moreMost horrible, disgusting food we've gotten in ... Forever. The meat like substance was undercooked and the buns were literally soaked in meat juices until soggy and wet. Like eating a wet lump of bread. I don't know what that meat was supposed to be, but it wasn't hamburger. Got eight cheeseburgers for $16.33. They can keep it. Don't want replacement food from them. Also, a good thing we have pickles and cheese at home or several of the "cheeseburgers" wouldn't have had those either. Threw away probably half of them. Almost makes me sick to think I actually ate two of them before throwing out. Would definitely...
