Everytime I go to H.E.B I'm thankful that I didn't go to wallyworld! H.E.B is, by far the better store. I really don't understand why I even go anywhere else 🤔. Why would anyone go somewhere else 🤔? Variety? HEB has a better variety on most things, at least it seems that way to me. Judge for yourselves, but I'd bet you'd agrees With me on that...... OK, UPDATE: 16 Dec 2020. Went to wallyworld to get a few things for Christmas dinner. A buddy went with me, he had to get a Christmas gift for someone, anyway, he went his way and I went mine. As I was searching for the items I was looking for I realized that nobody seemed happy. It felt like old Ebenezer had really put the Scrooge to the place.. but after a minute or 2 I figured it out. Everybody was rubbing thier lumps of coal together and gripping caused there wasn't much on the shelves in some places. The rest had been moved for their convenience (to where, nobody knows). So after stumbling around for 30 minutes I end up with a couple of burritos and a bad attitude and headed FOR H.E.B. ... Check out the pictures, I love that store! I bought a ham for Christmas this year and with that ham I received: potatoes, yeast rolls, bag of broccoli, a rosemary and garlic cooking sauce, aluminum foil, ice cream, and a 6 pack of pop! FOR FREE!!! plus I had 3 coupon for $3 off. All told I got about $90/100 worth of groceries and still walk out for under$60! And I found everything I needed! So from now on its H.E.B. for me all the time. I don't really see a reason to go back to...
Read moreOn Dec 30 I was singled out and discriminated against because of my skin color. Never in a million years would I ever thought this would hv happen at a HEB especially to me. I wa taking my aunt to pick up some fruit and I decided to get me a few things as well. We went to check out at self check out cuz all the other lines where too long. The self check out worker refused to let us check out saying we had too many items and if we rung up more then 10 items it would cause the register to freeze up. We explained to her that I only had a few things (under 10) and my aunt only had a few things (also under 10) then the worker tells us we'll they are all in the same basket so we couldn't use self check out. Now mind u we only had a few things so why would we need 2 whole baskets. Anyways we went ahead to a regular register I only had 4 items (4 packs of brown sugar pack of chicken 4 bell peppers and 6 snall lemons I was charged for the large) my aunt had 9 items (all different fruits). Now as we are leaving I see this same associate has let a white man and a Hispanic use the self check out with a basket full of groceries when I asked her why was they allowed she told me she can't keep track of everyone but u are standing at the entrance. I've never been so angry in my life at that moment. I asked her her name and she wouldn't respond she just swung her hair so I could see her name tag which is "Sherla". I've also included the pics I took of the other shopper who had way more...
Read moreI shop at H-E-B in Copperas Cove because that’s the closest store to where I live. I am getting really aggravated with how the prices in H-E-B Cove are higher than the prices at both H-E-B’s in Killeen and the one in Harker Heights. But add insult to injury I sent my daughter to the store to get some shrimp. The shrimp was 597 a pound she was charged eight dollars, which is no problem if it’s actually over a pound. When I remove the shrimp from the bag and the wrap it was in I noticed it was under a pound before I even took it out the plastic so I decided to weigh it on my own scale and as expected, it was less than a pound but because they use different bags now, which are of thicker quality it makes it seem like it’s more than what it really is. I am so disappointed of whoever decided to take advantage of my daughter at the seafood section and of course they said that that’s not the case, but whatever I do reviews for good and bad services H-E-B in Copperas Cove is definitely becoming one of the worse grocers around here. I don’t like shopping at Walmart so I guess I’ll be driving even further to get my groceries now. I know my one review may not mean much to the stores, but this isn’t the first time I’ve complained or did a review about the store and the customer service of course nothing was done and nothing has changed but if I keep putting it out there, maybe someone might actually see it and decide something...
