In a city where even the palm trees seem to be competing for Instagram followers, TruFusion's Coral Gables location has managed to turn zen into Miami's hottest ticket since Jimmy Butler's coffee venture.
The studio, bathed in more mood lighting than a Drake music video, offers a yin yoga experience that's equal parts South Beach swank and spiritual sanctuary. Florencia Rolandelli, the studio's resident yin master, orchestrates her 60-minute classes like a mindfulness mixtape, dropping beats of tranquility in a room that transitions from sultry crimson to electric blue faster than a Pitbull chorus.
The space itself is a testament to Miami's love affair with luxury: marble-clad changing rooms that would make the Versace mansion blush, and a retail section curated with enough high-end athleisure to make your credit card seek therapy. But it's the practice rooms that steal the show â vast spaces where LED lighting transforms basic stretches into something between "Avatar" and Art Basel.
Rolandelli's yin class plays out like a slow-motion highlight reel of relaxation. Her bilingual cues flow seamlessly between English and Spanish, creating an inclusive vibe that's pure Miami. The sequence â from brutal toe stands to happy baby pose â feels less like exercise and more like a negotiation with gravity where everyone wins.
The clientele is as diverse as Ocean Drive on a Saturday night: NFL players seeking recovery, tech bros decompressing from crypto crashes, and enough Instagram influencers to crash the Wi-Fi. Local car dealers stretch next to juicy sugar babies and spiritual seekers, while runners and CrossFit zealots discover that flexibility isn't just about lease terms or WOD modifications.
The heated room adds just enough warmth to make the experience feel earned, without crossing into hot yoga territory where your chakras need a cooling system. Each pose is held long enough to make you question your life choices, then release into sweet relief, much like Miami traffic.
But it's not all lotus poses and namaste. The studio's attention to sanitation would impress a CDC inspector, and the security measures are tighter than a post-pigeon pose hamstring. The changing rooms offer a spa-like sanctuary where even the most bejeweled and augmented Miami mamacita would feel at home.
At its core, TruFusion Coral Gables is where Miami's "see and be seen" culture meets actual self-reflection â both metaphorically and in the studio's generous mirrors. It's a place where the quest for inner peace comes with premium amenities and a side of scene, proving that mindfulness can indeed wear designer leggings.
BOTTOM LINE: A worthy splurge for those seeking enlightenment with a side of extra. Just don't forget to tag your chakras on social media.

Read moreMy review would have been a 5, given that I have attended 3 very different classes which had very good instructors: spinning, bare bootcamp, and hot yoga. Today I attempted to attend hot pilates. I left my parents and passed on brunch plans just to make it to this class which is taught only once today. My friend was walking a block in front of me and we were running a few minutes behind. She walked in 35 seconds before me and they let her in the class, I was told I was past the â5 minute cut offâ . I understand there are strict cut offs at certain gyms with classes, you donât want half of your class getting there late. But, if I am with someone and they came in less than a minute before me and the class is not full on a Sunday afternoon, I donât see the harm in letting me in. There are rules, and there are exceptions. You have to know how to define those. It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise, the classes are great. The staff needs to be coached how to be more service oriented, and if mandated from corporate than corporate needs to understand to be more service oriented. The gym has a lot of class options to keep you motivated throughout a month. However, I can do yoga anywhere and for a cheaper price on class pass in other places. Service is what ultimately can help set you apart from...
Read moreTrufusion is the perfect gym in my opinion. As someone who is strongly opposed to using machines at traditional gyms, I love the group fitness initiative. Trufusion has a modern and sleek look, and for the amount of hot classes they offer (creating lots of sweaty customers) it smells amazing too, kind of like essential oils. The check in process is efficiently done through an iPad at the front desk. Also, parking in the garage is validated, which is worth mentioning. I really appreciate an entire garage and easy parking for a workout class. They also have a ton of free lockers, so no worries about where to put your gym bag, wallet, etc. At Trufusion, I have only ever taken Tru Hot Pilates (60) with Brooke. She is full of energy and I love the sweaty cardio exercise we get with light weights. I would love to try some of their other classes, as they offer a wide variety, from cycling to HIIT to pilates to boxing. I attend through Classpass, but they offer memberships. Two things that are important to note: You must be early or on time to your workout because they do not accept late arrivals (4 min policy I believe). Also, they have showers on-site but there are only 3, which means if you are booking it to work after an early morning pilates, you may have to wait a little while. Otherwise, perfect...
