This Saturday Farmer's Market is a real gem for Corpus Christi. I love the blend between handmade crafts ( jewelry, art, wood work, and pottery) and home baked items ( jams, locally raised meat, candy, sauces, breads, cakes, pies...oh, and popcorn!). They even have locally grown flowers.. I can tell you, that's a treat in South Texas! The stars of the show, though, are the Farmer's! 🚜 Several Farmer's get up at the crack of dawn to bring their home grown items into town. In my fridge, we notice the difference in vitality of produce... lasts longer, tastes better. Read moreI was disappointed that there is a decline in the amount of fresh produce compared to the number of crafts. I used to really enjoy this. There were a handful of secondary products (pickles, jellies, soaps, etc.) made from locally produced fruit, veggies, herbs, and goat's milk.
