Aurora Arts Theatre — Attraction in Corpus Christi

Ms. Mary Chavez, I can't even begin to tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed the GODSPELL Production. Aside from the excellent performance by each and everyone of the actors, who did a tremendous job, the live music was fantastic and the icing on the cake. Above all, the Production could not have been more real to life. We felt like we were truly living the life with Jesus when he walked the earth. The emotion, the love, and the performance by each of the actors was surreal. We left the afternoon of the performance asking for more...we wanted more. We didn't want it to end. We left thinking that everyone in Corpus Christi should have served as witness to a tremendous production. Everyone in the Aurora Theater staff was super friendly and provided the best customer service, all that to say, we will be back to the Aurora Theater for future productions. The service, actors, production offered by the Aurora Theater was second to none. Congratulations to the actors, musicians, staff, and of course Mr. Peter Lopez, Director. What a great gem we are fortunate to have in Corpus Christi. Mr. Ed Chapa was present in spirit and his dream, aspirations, and passion for the arts continues-is alive and well, and continues on in Corpus Christi, Texas. The energy of Saturday "at the late night double feature picture show" was electric! Bravo to the cast and crew for an energizing Saturday night show (always the late show) that's when it's filled with the most Antici-PATION! Give them their flowers! Kudos to Brad (Tomas Galvan) and Janet (Lauren Flinchbaugh). True Texas talent, Riff Raff (Peter Lopez) and Magenta (Alex Chapa) brought it with vocals. Dr. Frank n Furter's (Jordan Bruster) magnetism ruled the stage. All the phantoms were a delight. Loved the design set! The Live musicians added excitement, and the crowd participation was top tier! There is not a bad seat in the theatre. The snack bar was reasonably priced with popcorn, chocolate and cold big pickles. Cast happily posed for pictures after the show and the entertainment flew by, it was like being in a "time-warp" ADA accessible good price good inclusive...

I attended "Winter Wonderettes" at the Aurora Arts Theater last night. This Christmas play is outstanding. It is simply the best live theater and live music entertainment you will ever find. Corpus Christi is blessed to have such an intimate theater with incredible and gifted entertainers. Autumn and Bob Caro have assembled a Wonderful Christmas show filled with everyone's favorite Christmas songs from over the years. Autumn Caro, Christin Espinosa, Chelsea Guerra, and Whitney Taylor were fantastic and a delight to watch. My family and friends who joined me are ready to see it again!
