Harrison County Discovery Center — Attraction in Corydon

Perfect place to learn about an important part in Indiana and Kentucky History. The Discovery Center is so high-tech with interactive galleries and activities for kids. This place offers an exciting way to learn about the Battle of Corydon during the American Civil War and at the same time enjoy learning about the laws that existed before then. It also opens creativity and love for learning through their amazing cave system located inside the Discovery Center! It is a must visit place and an accessible place as well! We brought our strollers! They also have a mini shop that sells souvenirs and snacks. Great place for families especially for kids to learn about history...

We were visiting from out of town and drove an hour each way to come to this place. Both the website and Google Maps said it was open on Monday but when we arrived a man was locking the door and said they aren't open on Mondays and that they haven't had control of their website for 3 years. That was incredibly frustrating but we made the best of it and looked at the historical buildings from the outside before we left since they are also closed on Mondays (which we already knew). I submitted the information to Google that they are closed on Mondays and within 5 minutes it was accepted and updated. Not sure why someone from the center hadn't...

The woman at the front desk who normally doesn't run the front desk there was super amazingly sweet the gentleman that she grabbed try to help us out was very rude I'm actually very disappointed and how he talked to me instead of listening to what I had to say and try to figure it out together was very rude to a point that I walked back out and didn't care about the museum anymore will never come back...
