The food tasted great. This man certainly knows how to smoke meat! I ate at their previous location in Georgetown years ago and was always satisfied. The sides were also good. No fountain drinks, only canned soft drinks and bottled water.
However, the new location in Corydon leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant has 3 tables; two are small folding tables with mismatched chairs and one is a ridiculously oversized wooden table. The building is run down, feels cluttered with junk, and the only restroom is atrocious. When I used the restroom, which is behind the counter, it is actually a utility room and nothing was clean feeling about it.
The restaurant had a good review from the health board, but the condition of the rest of the building makes me question the kitchen itself.
Lots of potential as Corydon needs some good BBQ. Either find a better building, or make some major improvements...
Read moreWe ordered brisket and ribs, the ribs were so perfectly smoked that the meat just fell off the bones. The brisket was excellent, it wasn't dry, or like some other places where it just shreds when they cut it. It had a great texture. The corn pudding was a bit sweet for me as a side, but great for dessert. The Mac and cheese was a hit with everyone, really good. Our two boys enjoyed playing Foosball while the adults in our group of 6 visited, and even though we were there kinda close to closing, the staff never made us feel rushed. I noticed that carry out was quick, even when folks came...
Read moreWe love great BBQ and B3Q has it in Corydon! We were walking on the Indian Creek trail and picked up the aroma of BBQ smoke in the air. We came back for lunch and it was awesome. Brisket was fall-apart tender and savory with just the right amount of smoke. Cheese slaw was perfect with it. The star of the show was the Redneck Wrap with pulled pork/cheese slaw/baked beans and cheese. My wife said she could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Can't wait to come back and try the ribs...
