Zimmerman Art Glass — Local services in Corydon

I am very torn about this review. I physically went to the business placed an order and asked for it to be shipped. After months and months of phone calls regarding the order I would get comments of we’re waiting for a special part or I’ll have to check into it. It literally took me having to call and leave a message stating I expected better from this company because they came highly recommended from a local city council person. that was enough for them to call me back and tell me it would be taken care of immediately. I gave them the name and the address to where it needed to be shipped. However, there was no return address on the box, my sister had no idea who it was coming from, and in this day and age, we don’t do that. There was no paperwork on the inside even from the company advertising themselves. My sister literally sent me a picture of the package and asked me if I sent this package. I knew that it had been mailed and had to explain that maybe this was the package that I had been waiting six months for her to receive. In the end she absolutely loves what they made for her. Would I buy from this company again? Yes, however, only in store, leaving with my purchase. I will never order an item and asked...

I searched the web to find a reputable source to make a memory piece to include my son’s ashes. There were local sources (Houston, TX), but when I came across Zimmerman Art Glass, I was drawn to their story and their history. And just as importantly, their reputation. I contacted them hoping to get something done by Christmas. Unfortunately that did not happen but I was late in getting things sorted on my end. When they were preparing to make the paperweight, Kerry called to confirm the colors. I’m so glad he did because the order I placed was not the colors I had discussed with Melanie, who made excellent notes on my order from our phone conversations. Kerry was kind enough to text me a photo and explain that once the glass cooled down, it would have the colors I wanted. I am so pleased with the workmanship. Kerry did an excellent job and was so kind with his communication with me. I also want to mention that Melanie was so helpful when I called to discuss what I wanted to do. I found Zimmerman online when I was doing research to have an art glass memorial piece made to incorporate both of my parents ashes. We had five of these orbs made for myself, my sister, and some of the grandchildren. They all turned out so perfectly. When I called the person I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and kind in helping me to pick out just the right colors to represent the ocean waves that my parent's loved and to help finalize my order. The orbs arrived on the day of my father's memorial celebration and everyone at the party got to see and admire them. Now mine is in a place of honor in my home and I look at it every day.
