Rural King — Attraction in Coshocton

My Husband and I stopped in there to purchase a gun. We were rudely told that since it was being purchased for me that I would have to fill out the paperwork and when it came time to pay it didnt matter who did the transaction. Then my Husband said kinda rude that's a stupid policy why does it matter who does the paperwork since it will be in my house under my roof. Then we asked another manager and he said yes I'd have to fill it out, all my husband said was that it was a stupid policy and we would purchase a gun elsewhere. After walking around for 1/2 an hour we decided to purchase the gun and I wound fill out the paperwork. So after completing all of it and almost finishing the sale, a manager named Melissa came over to verify the paperwork and then after doing so she crossed her arms and rudely asked my husband so what seemed to be the problem before and he stated he just thought the policy was stupid.. not once ever being rude to the employees or her just in general stating his opinion.. then asked who was paying for the transaction and he said me but the card is a joint card so it has my name on it.. as she was looking for any reason not to sell me the gun, then she took the gun set it behind the counter and rudely said I'm not selling you this gun!!! And said you will have to leave the store now with an attitude.. we always shop there and spend a lot of money there. I can't believe we were treated so badly!! First off I was buying the gun and the credit card was in my name so the sale was for me.. if she had a problem with his comment it should've been discussed with him but I shouldn't have been denied.. that's...

We regularly spend over $400 here about every two weeks. The last time we came to this store they only had one bag of product left, and it was torn. When we asked management if it was discounted we were shocked by how absolutely rude she was towards us. So much so we had 2 carts full of the supplies we needed and we just left them in the aisle. Took our business to tractor supply where we were greeted by friendly people and actually found the majority of all the things we needed were actually cheaper there, same brands even. After our last experience at the Coshocton location we will NOT be returning here and I am definitely spreading the word about what happened here in our community of others who regularly need feed and farm supplies. This wasn't the first time the manager here was absurdly rude, so until there is a change we will happily spend our money with a business who actually understands...

Took Mama out of the ole care Center today for a trip to our local Rural King. She has the ole Alzhiemer bad . Breaks my heart to see her struggle with memory loss .So we'll make some more memories even if they are short lived for her. Rural King is a fantastic store and their prices are pretty darn fair as well. Some of the employees went out of their way to speak to my mom and that was refreshing! They offered her popcorn with a big ole smile and a "how are you today sweetie " and she thought that was great ! She enjoyed meeting Rudy and seeing the baby ducks and chicks and could not get over the huge selection of items . I only gave you all 4 stars because ya all need to fix up them restrooms just a bit and you will be 5 star all day long. Thank you...
