I am writing this post for 4 reasons and I thought hard about if I should even post this. I will be parking in the same lot because I will be going to Planet Fitness often. I don't plan to be pushed around by any individual and deserve to feel safe. Hopefully he was just having a bad day but if this is who he really is when he is not trying to impress people (found out he might be the owner based on remembering how he looks and pictures shared by the business) I think knowing is better than not knowing, even if he does great hair based on reviews. It really didn't need to go the way it did, he didn't need to escalate or be negative. This was a public lot for all the businesses. I was law abiding and so was my car but apparently I was "making trouble". Plus if I told him I wasn't leaving, this whole interaction wouldn't have even happened. He would have just parked elsewhere. It is not okay for you to even imply a threat, you should be held accountable. He didn't say "Someone" could have, he said "I".
This incident wasn't scary but it was very unpleasant. Seriously where do people get the audacity? This all happened after I finished at the gym Saturday 08/23/25 around 9:45am and I noticed my car was wet from rain that already stopped. I took a rag out and went to start wiping at the front right of my car. A driver pulled up behind my car "Are you leaving?" "Yes but not soon, I am wiping down my car" "Really? Why don't you just go to the car wash? You don't need to do that here, just move your car to a different spot" Like he couldn't park at a different spot? There were still plenty of spots nearby. I was trying to beat the sun from leaving watermarks so I put my head down and kept wiping. A bit later "Can you just move? I have things to take into the Salon right in front of you." I looked at him, turned to see the salon with a lady at the door watching quietly and resumed wiping. "You know it's people like you that get in trouble." "So I'm breaking the law? You gonna get the police involved? Since you think I'm making trouble." I was more than half done wiping and so over interacting with this person. A bit later, he does end up parking somewhere and heads to the salon stopping at the right front of my car with a drink and what looked like a paper bag of food. I am at this time on the left front of my car. "Let me tell you something, you... I interrupted him "you don't need to tell me anything, I am not interested in listening to anything you have to say" "You know what? I could have thrown my drink at your car and you would have gotten in trouble." "I would have? For you assaulting me? Hah" He enters the salon. Later, he must have heard me turn my car on when I finished because next thing I knew the curtains moved and I saw him look through. I hope you could understand my frustration, when pulling out, no more than 4 spaces to the left against the same sidewalk there was an...
Read moreI made it clear that I only wanted Ricardo to service me. My request was to have the dark brown semi permanent hair color shampooed out and a lighter brown color . He instead had two other people put color in my hair and it was bright orange. He then said because of the chemicals in my hair .....I have not slept. It took two years for me to get healthy hair and growth. After I wanted the color corrected and sent a picture to another hair stylist. She informed me that my hair was bleached and very damaged. Not only did Ricardo not tell me of chemicals going into my hair, but he had two other people do it. In order to correct the damage, I need hair masks and must keep heat including blow drying away from my hair. This means I can't style it for at least 2 months. I am so angry I can't think straight. I am scared my hair is going to break off. Damaging my hair for $125.00 is ...I have no word.
Below is clip and paste from text response by Ricardo:
I know your hair is frágil after the color remover , and that why I offer deep conditioning treatments , it has nothing to do with my assistants work , that's the reason because having dark brown hair . Let me know when you can make it . If you still want to come in . I am sorry y should have say no to remove the color .
My answer:
I did not request color removal. I asked for it to be shampooed out. It was semi perm color. You, as my stylist should have discussed this process with me PRIOR to it being done. If you think for one moment after two years of bringing my hair to the strength and length that it was, I would have said, okay to stripping the nutrients and oils from my hair and making it fragile, you are crazy. Why would I do that. Bright orange? And you know I made it clear that I didn't want any but you to do my hair. You didn't care. But you do now. And hopefully this won't happen to...
Read moreTHINK TWICE BEFORE YOU GO HERE!!! The owner is EXTREMELY unprofessional and started telling my stylist off right in front of me for no apparent reason (this happened 3 times). He thought we were talking about him and I DO NOT know him, so there's no apparent reason why I would engage in talking about him! He aggressively confronted my stylist as I'm in the salon chair. Again, this happened 3 times within an hour of being there. The first time, he told my stylist that he was watching and listening to us in a very rude and snappy way. I quietly told my stylist that his comment made me uncomfortable. 5 minutes later, he came up to my stylist (as I'm still sitting in the salon chair) and said, "if you want a job still, you better shut your mouth". So, I calmly told him that it made me uncomfortable, because it was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for him to confront his stylist in front of a client. Then, he said, "if you don't like it missy then leave". So I did. As I was leaving I told him that I would've appreciated if he would've pulled the stylist aside and talked to him. Also, he literally flipped out on me and told me to leave simply because I said I felt uncomfortable. Who wouldn't feel uncomfortable?! I left the salon without my hair being finished either. IT...
