Kozo's Hair Salon — Attraction in Costa Mesa

I have long and thick hair and I'm meticulous about where I get it cut; the cut never turns out the way I want -- layered and textured. After calling around and reading multiple reviews, I am very happy to have found Kozo. He took his time washing, cutting, and styling my hair. I absolutely LOVE my new haircut and would recommend Kozo's salon to anyone that likes layers, texture, and something different that's also low maintenance.

The vibe is relaxing with R&B background music and low lighting.

I cannot thank Kozo enough for his beautiful work and I look forward to driving an hour again just to see him....

I can’t get my hair cut anywhere else, this is the only salon I’ve found that knows how to cut my hair the way I actually want it. All I have to do is show a picture and they get it perfect. I love the close attention to detail and I think the overall service is great!! It may be kind of pricey to some, but for the amount of time they spend and the quality you get it’s definately worth the money!!!💯 Kaoru and Kozo are both lovely to chat with and I really liked all they products they used My hair is naturally frizzy so I love that this salon doesn’t use razors to thin out hair as well. 10/10...

Good quality, good value, professional, clean and on time. They literally check off all the boxes. I got a Japanese hair straightening perm. Kimmie was so professional and efficient. I had a lot to do that day, yet she managed to get me in and out of there within the time frame we agreed. I don't know how she did it, but she did. I had a real "Princess Diary" moment at Kozo's.
