I've been here about twenty five times. Love the location. Love that they rotate taps. For the longest time the business model involved bringing your own food in, and buying their beer. A while back... they opened a "kitchen". We tried it a couple of times. It... was terrible. The owner offered some free meals on our next visit. We didn't want to take them up on that, because "hey, mistakes happen, it is what it is, and after all, we can still just bring our own next time".
So.... over the past couple of years, we'd bring in Salty's or wings from the nearby pub. Was fine it seemed. Honestly, it isn't that clear that they serve food, what is "the menu" or if they have the staff that night. Tonight, we had a pizza delivered as that hasn't been an issue in the past. Upon delivery, we talked the driver into coming back after work to try this business. Then... we were told that "hey, didn't you know that pizza was our thing? I can't have you eating that here". So... here's the deal.... inform your loyal customer of the policy change that you really haven't clarified... and ask that this be honored in the future. We'd have been very agreeable to that. But, we had to leave. That's fine, we get it... but we're done here. The beer isn't worth the lack of quality eats. I've never truly seen "cut off your nose to spite your face" embodied by a business, but I have now. Farewell exit six. It's...

You can expect games, $10 specialty pizza Wednesdays, and great beer. There’s much to say about this place: the drawings over the taps are done by one of the bartenders, people from all over visit here and they’ve got a place to showcase the money from these places, you can get your name along the walls by “achieving” certain small goals like purchasing 5 bottles, there are top spinning competitions, you’ve got pinball machines and I can’t think of any better stop besides this place for beer in the St. Charles/St. Peters area.
If you haven’t had malort, do yourself a favor and have one of their shots! It’s truly an experience.
Notice the signs on the walls in the picture, you’ve got dice games, dumdum drawing raffles, birthday displays, beer menus that connect to Untappd. While they don’t do flights, you can get a number of 3oz beers for cheap or if you’re looking for volume, a reasonably...

At the bar I was told “um, there’s a line” with a tone, like I was some sort of child after the bartender made eye contact and I told her my drink. It was embarrassing, I didn’t know what to say, I already waited 2-3 minutes for her to notice me.
That’s completely not how a bar even works at its most basic level.. It’s a horizontal bar to take care of multiple people at the same time to make more money.. Not a single file line.. Why not just get rid of the extra counter space and chairs if your bartender can’t handle them? It would at least avoid the confusion from the wrongful assumption that your bar operates like literally any other bar in existence.
It would be stupid to go back with how many better options there are in the local area. Don’t...
